It had been six months since my wife died. I had been devastated, at her loss, but life must go on. I finally started to circulate and go to some community events. The church I attended had a picnic and I was lonely so I went. The entire event was rather boring and I walked around looking at the various booths. Then I saw the young boy who owned the house next to me. We had chatted a few times and he had told me that his parents had been killed in a plane crash last year and he now owned the house and lived there alone.
