I'm Just Sayin': The Women In My Life

Got a nice complement yesterday. I generally go to the local stores around my home fully in my feminine presentation, I'm usually pretty casual. Pants and a nice blouse, a little lipstick; everything without a doubt women's.

I've read where authors say it is important. From my own limited experience, I don't know.

While the expected names have surfaced in rampant speculation over who might be a leading candidate to become the first female member of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, bookmakers have quietly moved Olympian Bruce Jenner up their lists.

This morning at around 9:10 Florida time I received a phone call from an Indian sounding man calling himself Robert Thompson asking for my wife and was claiming they were from the Internal Revenue Service.

My wife forwarded this to me as part of the 8 women she was supposed to forward it too. That says a lot about the level of acceptance she has regarding my feminine nature.

So, I send it to all of you in hopes that it will touch you the way it touched me.

So how do I begin this one. I guess I'll start out by saying my transition is going well. If anyone wants a link to my Transition log or E-log as I like to call it, feel free to PM me and I'll see about sending you a link to it. but anyways I digress, This past week I took adive off the deep end. in a matter of speaking. The past week, I met this guy in my reading class who asked for my number to do a study group session. later that week I got a text asking if I wanted to go out. At first, naturally I was scared. I hadn't been on a date in years.

Just for general curiosity what is your Ambrosial foreign food? I could just say Ambrosia in general and I think most would say something domestic, from their region so I decided to make it interesting.
My Ambrosia would be Japchae. It's a Korean dish that features stir-fried Sweet Potato Noodles with beef usually(cept the recipe I use uses dried Shitake mushrooms) and green peppers with a soy sauce that has garlic, sugar and a few other choice items. It is delicious and I wish I was making some right now. My mouth is watering at the thought.

If anyone happens to be in the Northern California region, come and see our production of a new musical theater adaptation of Francis Hodgson Burnett's "A Little Princess" at the Sacramento Theatre Company (in Sacramento, CA... if that weren't obvious). It's a wonderful story about never giving up on your dreams, about imagination and curiosity and understanding other people even if you don't agree with their choices. On top of that, it's a beautiful production with gorgeous music.
