-Eight-

A young acne-laden teen sat beside his bike and watched the workers run the slip scoop at the water's edge. At 14, he looked forward to the day when he could get a job like the one he was watching. A local crew had been contracted to dig out a portion of the river so a suitable structure could be erected to span its width. The bridge was heralded to become a gem for the city, grand and gleaming for all visitors to see.

Micah was well out of the way, positioned high above the working machinery. He was seated on the edge of the sidewalk which actually spanned the entire work site. He had always held a fascination with the heavy equipment, but as yet, never dared to venture down near its operation.

Third Degree

Well there was no way that Mum was going to cook, Dad doesn't, which leaves me.

"So where are we going to eat?" I hinted.

"We're eating at the Pingers." Dad announced.

Chapter 3

Wednesday, the day after Christmas, was one of action. Early in the morning, Cynthia drove Jamie to Bowie so she could spend December 26, 27, and 28 fulfilling her pre-dance promise to return to the Charm School Inc. Academy. Cynthia returned home since Jamie would be spending the entire three days and two nights on the intensive lessons in girlhood.

Chapter 1

I was walking down a tree covered lane, enjoying the fine early spring day. The dogwoods were all in bloom along the way scenting the street with their delicate fragrance. Their pink and white blossoms were glistening like jewels in the late afternoon sunset. I was enjoying my time alone when I felt rough hands grab me by my mouth. Another pair of hands held a rag with some sweet smelling substance under my noise. I started to feel to dizzy as I lost consciousness.

Part 13

Past made perfect

“So lets assume I wanted to make a man dress and act like a woman. How could I do it?”

“Against his will?”

“Yes.”

“Well, if you were being crude, you could kidnap him, drug him, and use threats of rape or other bodily harm.”

“I would rather something more subtle.”

“LIke what?”

“Hypnotics.”

“Not terribly effective, or so I’ve heard.”

“It depends on how they’re used. For example, did you know it was possible to plant a memory? To make a man remember spending his childhood dressing up?”

“Like I did? Sounds far-fetched.”

This chapter describes the births of the babies and the preparations for the wedding.
