Sleep alluded me and getting my brain to shut off was impossible. I think the only reason I fell asleep was due to exhaustion. I was feeling that way now - exhausted. I was dreading meeting everyone for breakfast. So much so I almost cancelled, but didn’t because the backlash would have been worse than what I had been facing since sitting down - which was pretty intense.

For Christmas vacation, my maternal grandparents were planning a trip from Tennessee. Their last visit was at Christmas 2 years before. Needless to say, a lot had changed.

My mom had spoken with them about my gender issue and my grandmother understood completely. My grandfather, however, was another story. As he saw it, his grandson had had a male to female sex change and was destined for hell. An uncomfortable, possibly heartbreaking confrontation was brewing.

Knoxville, Airport:
“Hey, wake-up Tammy. We’ve landed.” Stanley shakes Tammy’s shoulder lightly.

She had finally fallen asleep when they landed in Mexico to refuel. It was a nineteen-hour flight from Australia to Knoxville, Tn. Everyone was slowly moving around. Not only were they still jetlagged from all the flying, but from being on the plane.

“Oh man, I love it here.” Sophie was enjoying their training in the rainforest. The past few days have been nice.

“I know what you mean. I wish we had this the first day of our survival training.” Jerry finally secures the zip line they were helping the forest rangers install.

Jerry looks over towards Zak, as he tightens up the bolts holding the zip line. Him, Zak and Sophie were working together.

“Guys join us back at camp. Becky just received orders for us from Gina.” Tammy’s voice comes over their mikes.

Sam's pregnancy becomes real. Jen's relationship with Mike continues to develops and young Liam becomes reliant on his Aunt Jen. Jen spends the night with Mike. Research into Justin's criminal activities continues. Time is passing quickly and relationships are becoming increasingly strained.

Tom has started to come to terms with the loss of his balls. Some progress is being made in trying to get evidence against Justin but it is going too slow. Justin retaliates brutally against Tom and nearly breaks him. Some good news for Sam but the strains continue. Tom finds a man to target for the wager.
