Chapter Two

Charlie had his doubts but he couldn’t deny that Shelley was trying to make amends for her affair. It had been a week since he had agreed to give her a second chance and he had enjoyed waking up to breakfast in bed every morning since. As he sipped at his orange juice he thought back over yesterday’s conversation and the document that he had signed.

Shelley had come into the room clutching two documents and asked if they could talk, naturally Charlie said yes.

Trouble and Strife

Chapter One

“I’ve messed up Sis, really badly.”

Shelley was on the telephone to her sister, Marie, in Cornwall.

“What have you done?” asked Marie.

“Well, you do know how much I love Charlie. I don’t know how I’d cope if I ever lost Charlie, I miss him so much that it hurts even when he goes away overnight on one of his business conference things.”

“I know, I don’t why but I do know. But why is loving Charlie a problem. Apart from him being such a wuss.”

“Where in the world did you come up with a crazy story like that?” Charles chortled.

Tina and I exchanged glances. “It just seemed to fit our outfits and to signal from the start that it wasn't even worth dipping their hook in the water” I smiled.

Charles got the message and smiled with a nod as a waitress arrived with a tray full of appetizers.

“We ordered while you were still dancing.” Maria explained.

We started passing around appetizer plates in a round robin. I saw Tina blanche at the plate of fully loaded nachos and snerked. Tina's mom caught this.

“Chrissy? What's wrong? You always loved nachos?”

Raven was bent over the front of a car she was working on when she is slapped on the ass. She stands up and turns around to see who just slapped her on her ass. She was getting tired of being treated like she was a piece of meat to be used.

She comes face to face with her boss. He was treating her as his own personal sex slave.

“Come with me, Raven.” Dave was feeling horny and wanted to fuck Raven.

“But I have to finish this car.” Raven didn’t want to go with Dave.

Adam was tired all of the time. Everyday, nonstop. No matter when he went to sleep, he always felt like he had gotten none. The only thing that even remotely helped him was coffee.

One day, he woke up to find that he had forgotten to set the coffee maker to brew last night. Disgruntled, he headed over to to the cupboard to get the bag of beans. He grabbed it, and opened the bag. He groaned as he saw it was empty.

AMBER PT 8

On Saturday, the girls where 3 months old. A knock came to the door. Opening it there was a small girl. She looked 15. “ Hi, Can I help you?” I asked her.

“ I'm Emily Chapmann. I saw an ad and wonder if you are still looking for a surrogate mother.”

“ Emily How old are you?” I asked.

“ Everybody asks that. I am 21.”

"He's gone. I'm going to be ME!"

Sometimes taking that first step is as big as 'One giant step for Mankind' and I've always been a woman. Haven't I?

Previously this was titled "I’ve done 25 – will I get to 26? Is it over." The OLD subtext said 'If these were lyrics they could be better – but I’m doing this My Way – or the highway – or the low way. And sorry – it may sound like this is going to be a suicide story – but – nope – not this time.'
I think it wasn't being read because of the bad vibes. I was trying to be punny about the number of 500-word stories. And jokes suggesting suicide don't work. Sorry.
