It’s really important to me when I catch Shaya in those moments. Dysphoria is a damned horrible thing to live with and to have the social stigma that comes with that and all her own cultural stuff and pressure and then the abuse.

I have my own stuff, growing up and into someone that was the size of a Bear and so not feeling any of that well it was all sorts of hell and finding yourself in the midst of all of it is really hard.

But I really get the whole thing that just smacked Shaya and I’ll even go so far as to say it could be like post-fight related too when the adrenaline wears off and everything and the blood cools down but the mind is still in sort of fight mode or semi-fight mode and that kind of stuff still messes with your head.

Secret Origins, Part Two

Frank hadn't escaped punishment of his own, once he got home. His father attempted to calm his mother down, but it was no use, she was too angry at their son for his actions. During the argument, he grabbed his mother's sewing kit and quietly escaped to his bedroom. There, he took the silly Wolverine costume that Charlie had bought for him, and turned it into Seeker's costume.

Everyone knows that heroes are good and villains are bad, but what is a poor Imp to do when these roles get blurred.

This is a non-TG story that takes place in the Whateley Universe. This is also the third story about the Imp, with the first being The Art of Being the Imp and the second being Mission Imp-Probable. I plan on posting the new updates to this site a week after each one is posted on the official Whateley site.

Magic makeup?

Dorothy looked at the makeup bag with deep suspicion.

On the face of it, such an object shouldn’t be the object of paranoia, especially since in a way it represented the progress she had made in the last couple of years - finally shaking off fear and beginning a transition to womanhood.

But the bag’s contents now represented a barrier to further progress, and in a way Dorothy couldn’t understand the reason for.

For some Eternal s, our longevity has its drawbacks. There are some of us like the mighty Zeus, who after his place in the sun had passed, found eternity so insufferable, that he long ago spread his essences upon the stellar wind, thus is no more.

I looked into the mirror and frowned at the image. My makeup wasn’t quite right and I knew it needed to be perfect this morning.

“Will you hurry up?!”

I glanced over at the tall, dark, handsome, figure of Grigori as Billie buckled his belt.

“Easy for you to say, you don’t have to put on your ‘face.’” I said making air quotes.

“It’s not that hard. Bree’s been doing it most of her life, just relax and let her skill guide you.”

The Imp is an infamous art thief and super villain, and after a year long sabbatical, she's back in the game and out to prove that she still has what it takes. However, her latest heist soon proves to be a huge pain in the tail.
