Esmerelda Devereaux walked with the ladies' of the coven down the hill, and through the housing area.

Walking was quite a different chore now, than when she'd been Lydia.

She had to take much smaller steps, and her knees ached, her hips hurt, her back felt like it was on fire, and she couldn't put her shoulders back.

"We shall give you some remedies for the elderly ailments," Agatha said as they made their way through town.

  Mike thought he'd found the perfect Valentine's gift for his young wife. A sexy red baby doll nightie.

Her face fell when she lifted the nightie out of the box.

   “You’ve got to be kidding,” she exclaimed. “When have you ever seen me wear something like this?”

   She had me there. In the summer, she slept in a long tee-shirt and what could easily be men’s boxers except there was no fly and in the winter, it was flannel nightgowns knee length or longer.

   “Michael, it’s the middle of winter. Didn’t you notice the snow coming down as we drove home? If I wear that to bed, I’ll freeze my rearend off.”

   “You wear that to bed and I’ll warm you up in short order. Feel the fabric. It’s positively sensuous. I thought it would really enhance our performance on this romantic night.”

   “Well I’m not wearing it. If you think it will ‘enhance our performance’ all that much, then you wear it. You can freeze you hinny if you want.”

Thomas paced anxiously in the living room, gnawing at his knuckle. He knew he shouldn't have left her down there, knew he should have stayed by her side. Then he heard someone screaming in raw, horrid, grating tones, a screech.

One of the witches…he forgot which one, came up. "You can come see her now."

Thomas bounded down the stairs and past the witches who had gathered. In the center stood another of the witches. Why was she naked? And he looked around for Lydia.

The beautiful, talented, and fabulous Imp thinks that her Christmas vacation will be nice and relaxing, and it is...at first.

Lydia found herself immersed in a whirlwind of activity as she ushered movers through their new home, a symphony of boxes and furniture swirling around her. The previous day's shopping spree in the quaint town square had transformed into a tangible reality, as piece by piece, their house began to take shape.

The Headmaster sat at his desk in the dark of his bedroom, brooding over his New Year's Resolution. How was he ever going to do this?

A Star Trek Next Generation fanfic with an homage to all those blokes who put on a skant (I know, horrible name. I think it’s meant to derive from a merging of skirt and pants, although I thought that was supposed to be the equally dreadful skort) in the name of gender equality. A short-lived experiment that lasted all of season one then disappeared. Here’s maybe an insight into why:

When Ozzie finally stopped to catch his breath,
Avery summed up the case in a single sentence:
"The problem is that you ordered a French Maid Costume,
and now that you're wearing it, you can't take it off."

"That's right," he said. "You make it sound simple,
but it's a nightmare, I'm telling you!"

Ich hatte schon immer eine Leidenschaft für Hunde, habe bisher aber nie selbst einen gehabt.

Wenn es nach mir ginge, dann würde ich mir einen Golden Retriever zulegen, um ihm dann ein gutes Herrchen zu sein.

Doch leider spielt meine Freundin da nicht mit.

Zwar mag auch sie Hunde und findet auch den Rüden unseres Kumpels toll, ebenfalls ein Golden Retriever, aber für sie selbst kam bisher nie ein eigener Hund infrage.

“You good?”

Ignoring the immediate prostration of the giant and reptile-skinned elephant (who this time had forgotten to first bang the gong), I steadied Camael as he attempted to stand. The sudden shift had certainly unsettled him, but at least he hadn’t thrown up.

Though maybe that was because he hadn’t eaten in a ridiculously long time.

Brad picks up where he's left off after the mediation event. He's seeing the landscape clearer maybe, being encouraged by Jenny, and getting a to see Sara's got reasonable vulnerabilities like everyone else does. Denise isn't done making demands though - so how will this effect everyone's ideas of moving forward?

Chapter Twenty-Eight - Questions

There, hovering before what only pretended to be the blackest of clouds, lurked a sinister metallic sphere. How, one might ask, does a smoothly specular ball floating within an emptiness pressing against the true Void of Voids earn such a moody description?

The answer is simple: it emanates a hum of resonance filled beyond the brim with barely restrained violence, like a coiled spring which required industrial machinery to press into place and then held back only by a worn and rusted clasp on the brink of snapping. The tension so mighty that, if unleashed, the sphere would launch itself across a cosmos and plow through any stellar object foolish enough to happen to be in the way.

Rules of physics literally be damned.
