Dave looked sly. "I heard it involves a cheerleader."

The stairs seemed to go on for a very long time. At the top they were your typical dungeon stairs, dank, dirty, poorly lit by ever-glow torches, and very narrow, so we had to walk in single file. Then they started to open up, becoming cheap wood, widening so two or even three people could walk side by side, and lanterns lit the sides, putting out a nice warm glow. Further down we were walking on a marble staircase, glowing fae spheres floated around us, dancing in the air, making me feel good just watching them.

"The more you clean," Melissa told me, "the more you'll see that needs cleaning."

"It's a weird twist on Sisyphus," I commented.

"If you say so," she responded.

Chapter 7

The appointment at the fashion house was on a Wednesday morning so I made an appointment with Hector at his rehearsal rooms in the late afternoon and worked my butt off putting together a folio of drawings for him and the troupe to look at.

We had eight different guys, all built a bit differently but, thankfully all reasonably slim and about the same height. I had a basic shape but each had subtle differences to suit the individual characters.

Voices woke the spirit up.

In this second book of the Valg series, Stan Westly is a 26 year old technical writer that is consumed by his work. He is confronted by what he thought was impossible, a vampire and a Fae to learn that he is the son of a Fae and a Shifter and that he has inherited their job as Hunter for the supernatural community. First things first. He needs to believe and agree to being awakened, releasing his magic and magical body.

Rae blocks an attack from the creature that the Sorcerer Null summoned to attack her. She blocks the claw attack with her magically enchanted swords as she defends against the creature. She twirls her sword in her right hand and slices the creature across his chest. Lightning flashes overhead as her sword bites into the thick rubbery skin of the creature.

“Didn’t like that, did you?” Rae swings her other sword towards the creature and chops his arm off.

"I can't put this together," Max laughed. "You're nearly naked, but it's not so you can surprise me.
Did you have to get undressed to spy on Amber?"

"No, look: I was trying to make a quick getaway—"

“Coconut 1, 2, 3, you want to kiss me,” Micheal said.

Looking at the jerk who had turned me into a girl, I didn't want to kiss him. Stab him brutally and repeatedly maybe, but no kissing now or ever.

“Turn me back!” I demanded.

“Nope. You're much prettier this way,” he replied. “Apricots and Cantaloupes,” he said with a frown.

Just a quicky...

Lately, I heard a mother shout to her daughter "Go! Get changed!" at the local swimming pond.
This triggered my funny bone and fantasy. Add to this someone here on BC stating he/she/they
wanted to pack a transformation into 500 or 1000 words and write it in one run through...

Chapter 3

Saturday morning we were all up bright and early and, after breakfast, we went off to the station in the little car. When we got there I could see why they used it as it was very easy to park. We caught the first train that arrived and travelled the forty minute trip into Victoria Station.

My mother told me, once we had walked to the Victoria Underground, that when I started at the Chelsea College of Arts I would need to take the Victoria Line to Pimlico and walk a couple of blocks.
