I took her literally and well, instead of writing the next chapter of The Sight that I know so many thousands, well hundreds . . . okay, both of you are waiting for, I decided to indulge myself and this is what happened . . .

I try to shape my days now by my work. Numbers in charts, words battered out of a keyboard, spit out from a whirring printer: Let's say it is work like that I do, work meant for grey-walled cubicles under flickering fluorescent lights.

The Real Me

This isn't a fantasy story. It's just something amazing that happened to me and I wanted to share it.

The fountain that my own fingers recall, nothing like this: Drawn from a pond, a puddle. But, oh, how I felt an ocean of you crashing in. Ocean: warm saltiness of life, thick with potential, humming with energy barely contained, condensed of beating hearts and fluttering gills and lashing tails of a million, of a billion tiny creatures saying: Live, live.

Synopsis: Sometimes you find yourself saying the wrong thing, at the wrong time for the wrong reason. Sometimes you aren't the only one.

Hopefully now, these poor folk can stop trundling round and round in circles and can finally put their feet on dry land. It's been entirely too long coming and the retail outlets on board ran out of Sea-sickness tablets around Christmas, so well, without further ado...

The Swenson’s have a lot on their plate. They try to sort out how their lives will be affected by what has happened. They worry about how family and friends will react. They suffer a little separation anxiety. Annette gets to meet someone special.

"Ah, greetings my young friends, how may I help you this fine and wondrous Day"

"Sir, Does this bike actually work or is it a ruse to sell bikes?"

"Good lady, this bike does work as promised, why do you ask, surely you don't wish to become a man?"

Please don’t be angry if I get any facts wrong regarding gender issues, it is only a story, besides the characters themselves could be getting it wrong rather than me.
