Getting back on track

For the five people that are still reading Allison/Audrey and Makayla, I'll be getting back to writing them shortly. I had a few emergencies in real life, after which I contemplated just trashing the entire series because the views are going down faster than I do on my domme at 2:00 on a Sunday but eh, I'll keep going. Here's to six more months of writing crap that no one cares about :D

How to ask about stopped stories

What is the appropriate way to ask about serials that seem to have recently stopped? I can think of three different possibilities:

A: Ask about author in a blog post;
B: Ask about author in comment to last post;
C: Send private message to author.

(There is also D: Consult Magic-8 Ball, and don't bother the author.)

Uhg...

Oh brother.. It's been a busy week; and that combined with this coming chapter being harder than normal to write I have to apologize for taking so long to post this Chapter 13 of the story. Busy because work wound up being more productive than usual, and writing this week required me calling on memories of some hard times for inspiration, so that made writing that much harder.

I honestly feel that grief is an essential part of life, a Payment, as it were, for the love we may be blessed with. But damn... It can really suck...

I think it is likely that Snowfall is one of the most talented and imaginative writers on BCTS, as is evidenced in "The Nightmare Rider" and several of her other works. It seems that her last entry at this site was in September of 2018. I hope that she is still writing and has moved on to greater things. I would be quite pleased to see another of her stories here.

Yes there is the infrequent error in her work, but there is none of the pidjin english writing that I see so often. Yes, her work is a sharp prod to those of us who need it.

can someone help me with ideas for a story im trying

i have a vague general idea for a good story, I hope its good. but I cant figure out a trigger or beginning for the conflict.
I have this general idea about a young man working in an office ran by a few ambitious women. And hes a new, and a very young employee. hes very intelligent, but he seems to have a serious weakness and a need for the womens approval. What happens here will be very cliche for this website. But I think I have enough ideas to keep it fresh.

Slowing Down

You guys have probably noticed that my writing is slowing down a bit, and there are a few reasons. First of all, I'm working during the day, and second, I've reached a point where I've run out of pre-written material. One thing you don't have to worry about is me not finishing - the outlines for all of the stories are written and yes, I know how it ends. That said, I would totally love to open up a forum here to answer any questions you might have about the series if it's not a spoiler - what do you want to know?

Not to mention another Jaci/Dottie story.

I don't consider myself effeminate but I DO consider myself quite feminine.

"When Mannequin stares into the Abyss," said Aaron, sagely, "the Abyss quickly looks away, mumbling excuses about how it has something important to do elsewhere."

"Why is she even here?" said CornFed, obviously not happy about the empowered woman's presence.

Random Inspirations Round 4

We had family visiting the last two days so sorry for missing my Friday posting schedule on these!

This next week's 3 words are:

Hand
Needless
Route

A quick breakdown for 'em:

Hand. An extremity used for grasping and moving things. To pass something to another. A selection of usable options. Helping hand, hand of cards, the hand we're dealt, idle hands, hand of fate.

Needless. Pointless. Inane. Meaningless. Or, alternatively, "needless" could apply as in someone or something without any needs, something complete.

The last time it backed up, a lot of stuff got thrown out and nothing important is stored down there. Unfortunately, this time the back up was caused by the main sewer line collapsing. Which means I can't use my toilet or shower or really use any running water at this point.

Of course, this happens often in fiction with a humorous bent. The movie "Murder by Death" had a Mr. Lionel Twain, living in a mansion with the address, "22 Twain". a question about my bookmarked pieces

Blog About:

Author:

I was looking at my bookmark page, and I noticed I have some blog entries along with the stories. but when I go to those blog pages there is nowhere on them to indicate they are bookmarked, and therefore no way for me to unbookmark them if I wanted to. I'm probably missing something obvious can anybody help me?

Looking for a long forgotten story

Hey folks,

After a long time I find myself longing to re-read a story. How nice, you might say, but why put that in a blogpost? Well, the thing is that I remember neither the title nor the author. What I do remember is the following:

The title I think was a greek word
Our protagonist starts out as a witness, goes undercover as a girl, helped by a special division of spies/super cops. These are all trans girls, but the company gives them very high end tools, indistinguishable from the real thing. Near the end of the story she becomes part of the organisation officially, and gets to live her life as a girl. If I remember right, she set herself up to be a witness with that exact result in mind.

Offering assistance for those with limited computer access.

I have at least, one, and possibly up to three netbooks. Right now, I have one fully function and ready to go, and I have to locate the other two or three I should have and get them working.

What I'm thinking is this: For those people who have to try to write on tablets or their phones, something even as basic as an older netbook could help enormously. They'll work with phone/tablet hotspots, have a full keyboard, and can be connected to USB devices.

To Interminable war and hatred, and I give love with blessings.

There are a handful of authors here whose stories are sweet and romantic, sometimes with violence and war, and to them, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have blessed my life and brought healing into it. I'll turn Seventy Two tomorrow, and hopefully ,"It is all over but the shouting". As some of you well know, life can be painful and taxing. I hope that we help each other to get through yet another day.

The Visit - Sir Henry Tancred

Borrowed this character from a person I met early in my career who was descended from the Tancred's of North Yorkshire. He was a unique character with a personality never to forget. He was not a bounder or a cheat but he was a character.

Necessity is the Mother of Invention

I almost had this chapter of Necessity done last night, but try as I might life had other plans. I'd no sooner get off one call of someone calling to say happy birthday when someone else would call to wish me the same.

I was even interrupted in the grocery store twice by the phone as I was buying the ingredients to make my Nuclear meltdown Chili. (In my defense I have two friends and one daughter that also think the heat level is perfect too)

Luckily I found this morning free of interruptions and was able to type in the needed HTML and get chapter 3 posted :)
