We had been on the A3 for a while and then turned off just before Guildford. He must have been reading my mind.

“It’s no good seeing where we go, Maxine. We have been using tonight’s venue for a few months and will find somewhere else for when we next meet. We don’t stay anywhere for more than six months.”

“Obviously nowhere that’s cheap, though.”

It was a very pleasant ride, despite the lack of comfort, and he asked me if he could take me to dinner that evening. I suggested the Wherry as a good place, and he told me that he would pick me up at seven.

Here you go. The final chapter of this story. It was difficult at times, trying to come up with almost plausible storylines for the various films. Don’t worry, while this has been going I’ve written more – maybe not so long, I seem to get one of those a year.

With the certificate, and from what I read in the first journal, I had the start of the book, and after that the words flowed like water over a waterfall. The opening paragraphs set the tone.

The next day, the much-anticipated day of Tommy's aunt's wedding arrived. The sun was shining brightly, and there was an air of excitement as the family prepared for the joyous occasion. As the family got ready, Tommy felt a mix of nerves and excitement. He knew that he had an important role to play as the flower girl for his aunt's wedding. Despite feeling a little anxious, he was also eager to take part in the special event.

Clair’s Ranch House:
“Go ahead and contact everyone so we can see what they think. I’ll go ahead and start on the background search on each lady.” Gina had pulled out her cell phone and was making notes on it.

Nick was impressed with how Gina took charge. His oldest son, Robert could take lessons from her. He couldn’t believe how far she had come since Jack adopted her.

Cadmus looks up and starts growling. Gina looks down at her wolf and wonders what has him on alert.

“What’s wrong boy?” Gina has learned to listen to Cadmus.

Lilith and Shar'li, their hearts heavy with concern, sat across from Elizabeth. The room, bathed in the soft glow of the candles, seemed to mirror the flickering shadows of their emotions. The two succubi keenly sensed the lingering sorrow in Elizabeth's eyes, a pain that no amount of vengeance could truly erase. I wondered if she was asking the impossible. She had no work experience she could talk about, no references, and was a rank beginner at English writing and modern technology. Maybe there weren’t any jobs around here for someone like that that would also pay for transition care – insurance policies that covered it were rare enough as it was.

How I wasn't chucked out of the cottage or had to return my engagement ring to Hannah, I’ll never know. Eventually, I was back to being my normal self. Whatever that was! .
