Of all the things I expected to be revealed when I sat down across from the Kappa Omega head girl, the very last thing on that list would have been the announcement that she knew about the dimensional shift. To say that a whole new twist had been added would be the understatement of the year.

Luckily, I recovered my wits after a few seconds and put on my most confused expression, hoping it seemed sincere.

Mantra (Malibu Comics) now has to face her own super-magician son in battle, aided by three mighty and experienced ultras. It's going to be bad. But is Mantra prepared to face the worst if it happens?

Part 9 Money, Money, Money

The band stopped playing and the police in the hall went to see what the noise was all about.

One of them came back to me, “He claims that you’re his long lost daughter and he says he wants to make up for what he did. I suggest you have a little chat with him because he won’t go away unless he sees you.”

I motioned for the band to start playing and followed the policeman, the surfer surgeon joining us. Out in the foyer two burly guys were standing next to a chap sitting on a chair with his face in his hands.

Mantra (Malibu Comics) has taken Evie and slipped away from her son Gus, only to fall into the hands of Aladdin. That is not all bad, actually, but she can't stay with them. The first chance she gets, Eden slips away in disguise and tries to find Gus before Aladdin does. And she also has to keep an eye out for the first-arriving ultra friend that she has summoned, one of the strongest and most celebrated heroes of the present day.

Mantra (Malibu Comics) has called for outside help, but it hasn't arrived yet. That leaves her still on her own even while trying to protect her daughter from an enemy who, in some ways, is more powerful than she is.

A family of four who take each other for granted get a chance to walk in one another’s shoes, and clothes, and bodies. Stephen swaps places with his mother Michelle, and Stacy with her father Mark. Was it the fortune cookies? Or that freak lightning strike? Or was it merely what was meant to be?
