Mercy grew desperate to find a way to become a boy again. The reason was something most girls dread: her period. Mercy dealt with it in one of the worst ways possible. By using magic in an attempt to suppress it.

Cornered by Victoria Mercy had leashed out against her. But, in the end, Victoria's determination broke through to Mercy and managed to pull her off from a path of self-destruction.

But not all was well in the end. Mercy might have ruined her mentoring deal with Mavis, who just had shared a story of her past with Mercy.

Mercy had a rough couple of days and now it looks to be getting worse.
Wil she manage or will she drown in it?

Charles Edward Fitzgerald, CEO of Jugs (America’s #4 casual dining restaurant) slammed his fist down on his desk. “What do you mean, you told them I would do their moronic show? I gave you very explicit instructions.”

His secretary Francesca shuddered. “I’m so sorry—sir,” she hastily added.

“Don’t apologize, just fix this!”

“On your knees slave.” Astrid snaps her whip at her slave and makes him yelp.

She was really getting into being a Dominatrix Mistress. She loved the money she made doing it and the power it gave her over the men that hired her to abuse them. If it hadn’t been for her skipping school one day and catching her mother doing the same thing. She wouldn’t have ever known about this. Sure, she saw it on the internet, but she never knew that people liked being treated like this.

Mac was—well, “obsessed” would be to put it unkindly—interested in a rather particular art: the vocal impression. Since he was eleven he had been practicing voices: cartoon characters, celebrities, even his parents. But there was one wall he always ran up against: he couldn’t do female voices. It didn’t help that his voice had changed at a relatively young age. But it wasn’t just that: he also just felt too embarrassed. It felt like he was doing something… wrong.

While Mercy is looking forward to fighting new foes, old issues become relevant again.
She thought she had Mitch handled, but maybe she had been too quick to think so.
To top it off you can always count on Victoria to snoop around the secrets Mercy hadn't told her yet.

It is time for Mercy to get to know some other trickster mages.
She might learn some new things. Gain some new hope.
But first, she has to teach some cheerleaders that bullying is bad.

'Hopeluiah’ – there can be hope

In this third segment, I was aiming at something better than the spreading of hate and nastiness. Maybe I am naïve but I do believe that people can be kind and generous. Well, some people, if not actually many,

Wouldn’t it be fantastic if some good came like Hope out of Pandora’s box. If out of the spew of unkindness that is so often and so willingly sent our way – that now and again there was unexpected decency and support - even niceness.

Four o’clock in the morning Trudy sneaks into the room and bed with Mel.

Mercy really thought that enduring a rom-com flick was the worst she would have to endure on her sleep-over with Victoria.
Turns out she was very wrong. Will she dare to brave what awaits her knowing that Victoria is up to no good?

How much of a woman?

How much of a woman could I make myself into – on the outside? I’m fifty, fat and full of wheeze – as a vulgar version of the song goes. And how can I satisfy girl-inside – who has been hiding since I was a kid. Was I aiming to be an old age mutton-dressed-as-lamb girly, or a strong woman-of-age?
