Adele's case takes one final twist before the judge hands it to the jury for a verdict but it's after the verdict is rendered that the truth is revealed. It will be left for the reader to decide the true verdict.

Chapter Five – You Can Bin Them or Keep Them

The trial takes a twist when a shocking revelation causes the judge to consider ordering a mistrial. Meanwhile Peter Duffy finds Adele alone in her office late at night and tries his luck with her.

Chapter Two – Not Tonight Cowboy

Transgendered Lawyer Adele Edwards is intent on obtaining justice for a young woman who claims she was forced to have sex with four men. She's so obsessed that she sends her best friend and lover to do whatever is necessary to get the case file. She even lies to the Partners at her law firm to hide her intent, she will not settle, she wants her day in court.

I held the dress up in front of me, and looked in the mirror. Mayda gazed back at me. Of course she looked wonderful. Of course the dress would look lovely on her. It was weird as hell to know that the girl in the mirror was me.

Pete was told that these people were going to help him get back on his feet. He was told there were great opportunities here. What he did know was that his wife Jackie had sold him, and that once he went there, he wasnt going to leave. He was going to be enslaved, abused and made into a porn star.

“But -- but -- I don’t want her body!” I told him.

“What difference does it make?” he asked. “You look the same as before! It’s a well known fact that humans can’t tell each other apart.”

Just speaking for myself, I hate suspense. I don’t like the anxiety of anticipation. Whatever weird, creepy plan Donaldson had in store for me, I wanted to face it and get it over with. If it wasn’t inevitable, I’d put up a fight. If it *was* inevitable, avoiding it wouldn’t help.

“I bet I would be a mad genius for blowing smoke rings,” he said.

“To hell with smoke rings!” I said. “What is with you? I’m sincerely grateful that you did all this for me, Qurakas, but I want out of this chamber of horrors! Now!”

“What if I told you that there was a bigger chamber of horrors outside?” he asked in a very quiet voice.

Throughout the city of Paragon, more than half of the people fell unconscious with the coming of the enveloping light. Throughout the nether realm, bolts of lightning, red and blue, crashed, and more reality clouds formed.

It was only a matter of time before the two realms melded completely.

“We’re in the middle of outer space, so you’d think that SOMETHING weird or out-of-this-world would happen every couple of days. But NOTHING! Nothing ever happens here. You are the single biggest event since we left Earth, and I doubt that anything’s going to top you for a long, long time.”

Chapter Ten -- The Hostess With The Mostest

The final chapter of this story. Candi explores Singapore and meets up with a debonair Navy Lieutenant at the Raffle's Hotel. Millie Walker is acting suspiciously and Candi is confused. To say any more would spoil the final reveal, which I hope you all like, and tell me what you think of this story.

Chapter Nine -- Come Fly With Me

Candi duxes the course and she and Millie are selected to work on Goldwing Airways new Boeing 747 Skyliner in First Class. Megan DeVille is the Cabin Manager and provides Candi with some pertinent advice and some in-flight entertainment

Chapter Eight -- Caputo Kaput

The man who assaulted Candi in the pool reveals his identity and blackmails Candi, threatening to reveal he knows her documents are forgeries. The only person who can help is Tony Carlotta and of course, with him everything has a price.

Chapter Seven– Pool Party Panic

Candi is confronted by a stranger during water survival training and he takes advantage of her. To make matters worse, she is betrayed by Michelle Murphy and John Benstead when she very much needs their support.

Chapter Five – Cruella DeVille

Candi attends the selection for flight stewards where she meets the wicked Megan DeVille, Senior Flight Attendant for Goldwing Airlines, and chairman of the flight steward selection committee. It's quite the battle where the selectee's are bitchy and malevolent to each other as the 16 jostle for the 10 positions available. Candi befriends Millie and they help each other through the selection process. John Benstead meets Candi outside of the of Goldwing Building when selections are completed and they celebrate her success.
