A Marvel X-Men Fanfiction starring Wolverine and Jean Grey

When Marshal Bullock, Jessica and David arrive at the site. They spot a group of people unloading a boat. Most of them were Indian and it looked like some of them weren’t. Marshal Bullock pulls their boat up to the make shift dock.

David spotted the non-Indian people when they dock. He was curious why they were here. He spots two young men heading towards them.
Jessica saw the two young men walking towards them. She does a surface scan of them but doesn’t detect any hostile attentions. They were curious who she and the rest of their group were.

One of my least favourite duties as Sheriff, was notifying people that one of their loved ones had died. It is was local then they’d often already know of a death and my arrival would be the confirmation. Occasionally, the death may have happened on the other side of the world and it was down to local law enforcement to do the deed.

Normally I’d go on this task accompanied by a female deputy but on this particular day, Sue-Ellen and Kelly were away helping the State Police on an operation in a neighbouring county so it was left to me to head out to the Wilson Farm to give them the bad news. The other bit of a downer for me was that their home was on the far edge of the county and the last ten miles of the journey is along a dirt road that hasn’t seen a grader for fifty years. Such is the lot of a County Sheriff.

While passing the minivan I glanced at it. Its polished side was reflecting the wall with graffiti and there was a door. When I turned to the wall there was no door. Then I turned to the minivan and there was I in the mirror and the door behind me. Following myself in the mirror I took small steps toward the door. I felt the wall with my back already. Still looking in the mirror I groped the door and took its knob firmly in my hand. I turned it and the door cracked open but I couldn’t see what was behind it. I pushed it open but I had to step through the doorway to open the door. At the same instant, I was standing again with my back to the wall and there was no minivan.

I was going to make this a short-short like the other two, but I kept coming up with fun things to add. So now, along with getting to find out what happened to Dirk after his three year participation in the Earth's water cycle, we see what Marvin has done with his time.
