The following is classified information. The US government does not want this technology to be known at this time. What technology? Humaniform robots and human-AI mind meld are top secret tech. The Defense Department has been working on this for quite some time. In 1954, George Devol invented the first digitally operated and programmable robot, called the Unimate. The term “artificial intelligence” was coined by John McCarthy in 1955. Together, these two areas of research and development went dark in 1956. How is it that I was able to write this story?
