My life growing up was a little strange. You might have blamed it all on that oblong orifice lurking just below my penis and testicles. My parents of course knew of my condition but ordered me never to reveal the existence of said orifice by word or touch to any other living soul. And so I attended school as a boy named Fred. I was physically smaller than the rest of my male peers and when I reached puberty I didn't have the facial hair or completely lose my high pitched voice. “Yeah, and like so many great inventions it was accidental. Well, shall we open it up and see what we have?” Mark asked as he removed the bucket lid. Pulling his gloves back on, he reached in and removed the hemostat holding the plastic bag. “Will you look at that? You just don’t get prints any better! Looks like a thumb and forefinger on the top, and thumb and two or three fingers on the side.” Mark carefully photographed the fingerprints, and then sealed the unopened Ziploc ® bag in an evidence bag. “If the apparent stains prove to be from the victim, I would say Mr. Maxwell is going to prison for a very, very long time.”

Note from Author: This Chapter is more of an introduction of the Character and her background. I hope this gives a small insite to the mind and conflict grown inside this poor girl.

Mystery on the Beach

The second in this series is a variation on that theme and viewed from a different perspective. Our little tale once again concerns eleven year old Tony, who is continuing a holiday with his older girl cousin and favorite aunt. The children go to spend a week at a large modern house along the beach when our hero's cousin is given a holiday job by the lady owner. Unfortunately for Tony, he had previously upset the lady so the only way he can accompany his cousin is to go in disguise, as a girl....

"Joey, you ready?" Dad shouted .

"Coming" was the reply as I bound down the stairs finishing with "Ready".

"I suppose it wouldn't help if I told you that this isn't a dream?"

"No," I said, and for the first time since I awoke, I laughed. "Nobody in my dreams thought that I was dreaming."

"I do have a talent for getting into strange situations," I admitted.

"I can see that!" Cakey replied, shaking the bars of my cage. "But don't worry. In the morning, as soon as the three of us are awake, I'm busting you guys out."

I sighed. "Does the story ever end?"

"How can it be more or less? She either did or she didn't."

"I think Mirina meant to do it, but when she actually did do it, she didn't mean to. It was an accident."

"Oh, Belle! What kind of sense does *that* make?"

I sat down with my back to the rock wall and put my hands on my belly.

"Oh, Lord," I said, "let this baby be a small one and make it come out easy." Then I drifted back to sleep.

"You know," Wiggy told me, "the way Robinson Crusoe realized he wasn't alone was that he found a footprint in the sand."

"That's kind of creepy," I said, looking around us.

"I don't know," the cook replied, "but we'll find out soon!"

"What would Captain Janeway do?" Ding-Dong asked.

"Oh, Ding-Dong," Wiggy sighed.

"No, seriously. She'd increase hull integrity. Can we do that?"

"I'm not going to put cooking oil on my head," Donkey said. "I'll break out in a thousand zits and smell like french fries."

"The boys will love that," Ding-Dong joked. "They'll all be sniffing after you."

"Remember, girls, what I told you when you first came onboard. If we're all going to get through this, we've got to stick together, help one another, and you've got do what you're told. If you want to ask questions or discuss things, or if think you've got a better idea, leave it till tomorrow. We've got to move fast."

"It's not a joke," Cakey said, and there was enough alarm in her tone that Wiggy and I ran to the rail to see. I could see Cakey's entire body under the water, but no sign of Ding-Dong. Cakey looked scared. "She's been under a long time. She said she wanted to touch the bottom."
