McKenzie continues to be closeted at home while puberty approaches and Mom remains concerned about anything that will interfere with the custody hearing. Depressed over the discussion of puberty in health class McKenzie turns to StacyLyn for help. She has a suggestion, but acting on it means sharing family secrets.

Leo Morgenstern finds a magic lamp while he's on the beach trolling for girls. But it's an EMPTY magic lamp, and that's where his troubles begin.

When three old men find a magic lamp, the genie grants each a wish. Each makes a wish based on how he lived his life, and each, in his own way, GETS what he wished for.

This is the first of a series. The characters differ from story to story, though. What ties the series together is the game "Wits and Wishes" that the djinn play. The object of the game is to outwit the human master and "bend" the wish for the amusement of the djinn.

First Contact

Blame Tels for this. She said it was ready...

Everyone knows exactly where they were when First Contact happened.

Before leaving home McKenzie was told by Aunt Karen that going on a vacation as a girl was just a game to cheer Mom up, but now events seem to be going unpredictable directions. StacyLyn invites McKenzie's family to join them for their last day at Bryce Canyon. A fun mother-daughter day of sightseeing is followed by a picnic. StacyLyn leads McKenzie away from the campfire and reveals a secret.

Hi all I woke up from a dream and there was this story in my head.

When I was but a fetus inside my mothers womb she had had an ultrasound done with my father loving her so much. The doctor, although at the time she wasn't supposed to, stated that mom was pregnant with twin girls. My parents were ecstatic and decorated two rooms in our house. One was a pink themed room the other was a rose themed room. All was well as they both spent hours in stores examining all the cute baby girl dresses. They actually bought alot of dresses, two at a time, of course.

Retracing My Steps

Sometimes, its just a longer trip than others.

And on occasion, you can get lost, especially when you havent been in your home town in decades, which is why I was sitting by the side of a road looking at a map trying to figure out where I needed to go.

Authors note-This is a rewrite of one of the very first stories I posted here. I’ve always liked it, but I always felt I could do it better. I hope I have, at least a lttle, without ruining it.

Jesse sat in his antique rocking chair, the one that his Grandfather made for his Grandmother when she had nursed his father by the fireplace. There was a fire in the old stone fireplace, and Jesse relaxed under a blanket, watching the snow storm outside. The snow and the comfortable warmth soon had him drifting off on a nice Sunday afternoon nap.

I can't believe ... I really gotta stop thinking that. It's happening deal with it girl! I can't believe I just thought that!

So yes here I am in a ladies restroom at a local gas station surrounded by girls, in there uniforms just like I'm wearing, from St Marys Catholic Girls Academy. Well the summer cute uniform. The pink winter one isn't so nice to look at. The girls names I'm not so sure about I caught a Crystal and Sara, not too sure about the rest though.

"I can't believe I'm... Ohh forget it!"

Yes I'm sitting in a doctor's office filled with people, some of who I know from school, that seem to enjoy my predicament. Okay the boys are just looking at me funny while the girls are half smiling half sneering at me. Getting a date after all this is gonna be an exercise in pain.
