What happens when the lamp you buy isn't the one you intend to buy?

A story inspired by a sketch with the annotation "girly lamp."

A friend of mine wrote this, he normally doesn't write TG stories, but upon reading this I knew it needed to be shared. It is definitely written tongue in cheek and don't let any of the tags turn you away from this story.

I kicked him out of bed to make the tea. I mean, what else are men good for? Then, as I moved, a little twinge told me the answer to that one. He had surprised me with the tickets, so what else could I do but surprise him back?

Author's note: A while back I wrote a story called "Cindy's Choices", and let you guys play jury, deciding on the proper punishment for the bad guy. But as there wasnt a consensus verdict, I'm using my option as "judge" and pronouncing sentence ...

Cindy’s Choices 2 - The Verdict

Mark lay helpless in his bed, unable to move at all.

“How could it have gone so wrong? Thanks to that computer program I had the girl I crushed on in high school, and a enough money to last me the rest of my life. And now, I cant so much as raise my head from the bed!”

"Oh come on Jim, you could've used a less cliché dieing line."

"Dude!" John nudged his unorthodox friend, "Show a little respect, he's just been hit by a freaking lightning bolt!"

"Oh please," Kyle laughed, "Jim's the main protagonist, he won't die."

"Ummm dude." The fourth member of the group, Gary, interrupted. "The story's just started."

"What?" Kyle turned around in confusion.

"The story's just started meaning there's been no character development yet and thus there is no protagonist."

Author’s note: A little while ago, I created a alternate to my past where I met a very different doctor to the one who abused me. Now, after the Sandusky verdict, I got an idea for a yet another take ...

The trial had gone on for a long time. Not that the guilt of the accused was in much doubt, but the sheer number of victims and evidence took a considerable period. But at last it was over, and the guilty verdict announced, there was only one step left to take.

Aelita sat on the edge of the bathtub staring at her open medicine cabinet. On the bottom shelf, there were two bottles, with very different purposes.

The first, a bottle of Estrogen, brand new from the pharmacy. The other, a half full bottle of extra strength sleeping pills.

George’s Voice

How did I end up this way? Well, my story started when I had just started grade seven, and my voice cracked. In what seemed like no time at all, I went from having the voice of a small kid, to having the voice of a man, or at least someone who would very soon be one.

Afterward, I got treated very differently from before. Teachers called on me more often in class, older kids seemed to have more respect for my opinions, and when I answered the phone at home, strangers would often mistake me for my dad.

A long time ago, the Earth blessed four spirits, making them gods. The gods of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, oversee their realms, creating sentient creatures to help cultivate their lands. These beings constantly war over each other, eventually driving the servants of Water, the Merfolk, to extinction. Millennia later Kyle Weathers receives a gift from an old but mysterious lady while working in Haiti. This gift will change his life forever.

Zach’s Meteor

I was born in a small town, as the song says, but unlike the song, I managed to find a way to leave it behind, and until recently, I thought I thought I would never come back.

My way out of my small town was through medicine. I got into med school, and ended up taking Psychology, and became a psychiatrist who specialized in gender issues.
