“I call her Pandora,” said Felix. “Get used to her. This is why I need you. This kind of interaction has to be a two-person thing.”

Jake was used to virtual reality. It was his thing after all. But here he was in their apartment. The only thing different was that he was in another body. When he held his hand up he could see that it was not his hand at all, it was a slender feminine hand, with manicured nails.

Terry brushes her hair out of her eyes as she watches as August lands the Lear Jet. The C-17 was landing on a different runway. She looks at her mother and wishes she was going with her. She slept with her mother last night. She may be a teenager and only have a few more years left before she heads off to law school. However, she wanted to sleep with her mother. She loved her mother very much and didn’t want to lose her.

Part 1.
Lesley was sitting on his front porch when he noticed that a new family was moving in next door. He observed there was a handsome young man moving in with his parents. He was attracted to the muscular young man. He was fascinated with the way the sun gleamed on his platinum hair.

He kept sitting on his porch, wondering if when the new family was finished unloading the truck if he should go over to introduce himself when he heard the new boy shout out.

Chapter 6

That did leave me in the casino area and made me wonder if there was some game of chance where my abilities gave me a boost. Obviously, poker would be easier if I could tell the true emotional state of the other players, but I was too young to be allowed to play. Besides, I would prefer to win against the casino rather than other players. I could touch the slot machines with my energy, but they were too complex for me to work out any advantages.

Lien had gone and told her aunts what Cheshire told her. Krisha and Catlin rushed towards the window that looked out onto the front lawn. Omphile and Lien were at another window that allowed them to see the front yard. None of the girls knew the other three women outside that had shown up and were standing near Cheshire.

“Do you think I should call my mom?’ Lien looks towards Krisha.

The weeks passed by quickly now that we were used to the routine of classes. Draco was no longer actively scowling at me anymore, but we weren't exactly on friendly terms either. I'd almost call it a respectful dislike of each other. And since the incident with Longbottom's remembrall even the Gryffindors have been sociable to me. Susan though has been acting a little strange. It seems like ever since the first dueling club session she's been trying to find reasons to spend time with me.

“No problem, Sam. Any chance of you welding a broken hinge on one of the waggon sides sometime?”

Ghek felt the trembling and knew the time had come.

Chapter 3

I ended up giving an impromptu concert. I had to break frequently, partially to eat my lunch, but mainly because my new body had not developed any stamina for violin playing. The music teacher started talking about the orchestra and what she would like me to do. I tuned most of it out while seeming to agree and nod my head. I needed to get away from here and having a violin meant I could earn some money busking.

I had not wanted to let go, but Carson made me see the sense in it. When winter broke, we were able to take her body in to town and confirm the cause of death. It was such a minor thing, just a small wound from a can of spam, but when you are isolated, even with modern communications, there is nothing you can do.
