Chapter 9 - It Ain't So Easy

Grandpa Dave has a saying he's fond of: Be careful of what you wish for, you might get it. It's the kind of stuff old people like to say to young people. Lord knows I've used it a time or two myself.

I sat down at the piano and began.

I stood there dumbfounded for a few minutes before I realised that I still had chores to do. I hid my letter and the quill in my secret place in my room, and then started on the dishes. When those were all dried and put away I headed out to the garden to finish pulling weeds for Aunt Petunia's new flower garden she wants me to plant. It was at that time my only friend came up to me. It's sad that at almost 11 years old my only friend is a small garden snake, but she (at least I think it's a she) has been very cuddly since the first time I found her almost three years ago.

The question Tegan now ponders is 'Can there be a love triangle when one of the two people thinks there are three people involved?' Further, just how more can her life get complicated since drinking at the wrong pub, the peddler, Marie-Anne and unfortunately her/himself have caused her to be too far gone from his previous days as Thomas.

Gabriel is a survivor.
In the falling apart and sinking city of Verrencia, you have to be.
Especially if you are an orphan living on the streets and channels of this once great city.
His lucky break comes while hunting for treasure in an abandoned shop.
Not knowing that it will transform not just his life and set things in motion outside of his control.

Elizabeth looks at her wife as she walks out of the bathroom. Her belly has gotten big since she became pregnant. The two eggs that had been artificially inseminated had split. Now, they were going to be a family of six, instead of a family of four.

She couldn’t believe that Sara was going to have four babies. Neither one of their family’s had a history of twins or any signs of multiple births in their family line. How the egg she gave Sara had split and Sara’s own egg split was a mystery to them.

Chapter 48 – The storm

It was nearing noon and The Sun Goddess was in peril. The hurricane was to the south east and closing fast. Waves were 20 to 30 feet high and crashing over the ship. All but the topsails were down, and even with those small sails up, the ship was speeding through the seas. Worst of all, the captain was nowhere to be found.

Jason burst into the cabin, soaking wet. “Where is the captain,” the first mate yelled.

The first was that we were done in our solar system, and would be leaving now to head toward Alpha.

Her second was that Heaven’s Rose would now be open for business. I blushed a deep red when the cheers went up for that.

Chapter 6

Mark’s night ended up being a very restless one. The constant rubbing of his sheets against his nylon covered smooth legs as well as the feeling of the silky material of his panties all around his bottom and chest felt very sensual. He was embarrassed to admit it, but it actually turned him on. The worries combined with the horniness formed a potent combo to keep him awake. Chapter 7 - The Surprise

Let me introduce you to my grandmother - my mother's mother. I had another one, Dad's mother, that you'll hear about later, but she had died when I was very young.

The records said that Fred demanded no more than a two millennia term for a president, but then he married the next president after she became Paula.  She had been the commander of this ship for over a hundred millennia. In essence, he had power as well.

I didn't know what to think.  I sat up, feeling the sleepless night, but absolutely unable to rest at all.  I wasn't sure I would be able for awhile.
