Mark Thomas, now fourteen years old, had been railroaded by his parents since the age of nine to end up going before a Juvenile Judge twice a year, every six months, and spent exactly two months in juvenile detention. Why? So his parents could go on vacation without having to pay someone to watch Mark at home. Their taxes were still paying someone to watch Mark, but the little they had to pay, thanks to creative bookkeeping, was more than worth it to them. But Mark's parents didn't count on a Judge they had yet to put in their pockets. A Judge, who by good fortune, and loyal people, found out what Mark's parents were doing and turned the tables on them. Judge Ruth Walinkiewicz was about to surprise the parents of one Mark Thomas, helping Mark in the process, if only she could get him to trust someone again.

The sound of footsteps distracted her, very heavy sounding footsteps and Nyssa turned her gaze toward the front of the cave to see the dragon coming right toward them. It was the single biggest creature that she had ever seen, or even imagined, and could easily swallow her whole. How did those people not notice it? She needed to get them out of the cave. Aris preserve me, she prayed silently to the Goddess of life and light as she unsheathed her sword and dropped the sheath as she leaped out of the crevice, placing herself between them and the massive creature. "Go!" she shouted at them. "Run! I'll keep it busy!”

“Go on, Mate,” he said. “Give it a go over the weekend you might surprise yourself. Beats the hell out of viagra. It worked miracles for me.”

Kyra ran to the back of the dancing studio toward her mother, who was lying on the ground. “Mom!” she called out.

Her mother looked as though she had taken a beating. She barely breathed.

Hours later, they were at the hospital, and the doctors assured Kyra that her mom would be alright. It wasn’t right at all. Not two days had passed since they had last talked, and Kyra entered the studio hoping to break the silence that had lasted since their ferry ride.

Chapter 22 – Catching up

The other day I just happened to remark the sky seemed lower than usual. What I ask you was so funny about that that he had to get a whisky to recover?

Nineteen-year-old submissive Kathleen was sick of men who only wanted to be her master for sexual reasons, but when she responded to a message from a gentleman on a matching site, she didn't realize how life-changing their relationship would be, and how right it would feel.

“Here, put this mask on. The smog outside is unbelievable today.” Nancy hands each member of Tammy’s team a mask.

“I didn’t know India suffered from smog.” Jessica puts the mask on.

“It’s not really smog, but the air is really bad this morning.” Nancy knew some people were affected by the particles in the air.

“Is it going to be like this all day?” Sophie hasn’t been in Katwa for a while.

“Nope, it should clear up by noontime.”

“Good.” Tammy looks over towards Sophie.

The trip north was slower than the one south, thanks to the two wagons carrying the millstones. Larger as well: there were many emigrants from Sarn heading north, and they were quite willing to travel at a slow pace, in return for protection against the bandits.

Max opened the door. “Mistress?” he whispered, with Sean standing behind him.

They found Maryann and Genine lying on the bed, the latter still clothed and alive while Mary’s skin had returned to normal, and her wings had retracted. Both slept, but their mistress heard Max. She placed a finger over her lips. Maryann’s smile was assuring, but her eyes were sad.

Genine gasped then. Repeatedly. She sat up with wide eyes when a moan escaped her lips. She looked around the room, and leapt out of bed.

It was early September — far enough into the school year that the teachers weren’t holding back on the homework, early enough that we still had some pretty nice weather. Which I was missing out on because I was sitting in my room doing homework, that Saturday morning when the world changed and only a few scattered people noticed.

Brook, Keira, Keely and Karla graduated with honors. Again the whole family was their, including Kelsey and Brooks little ladies. Of course there was an argument on who would hold them. Grandma's won out but relinquished the girls to Great Grandma's about half way through. Although grandpas carried the girls down to meet mommy on the main floor afterwords.

I’m going to try for a one a day week. I might miss a day along the way though: Dawn.

Chapter 19. The Battle

Stone realized that he was in battle mode. He looked around as he pulled Pate, and saw a wireframe in the distance. It was red, a sign that it was an imminent danger to him. He soon realized that it was a dragon, breathing fire as it swooped around the fields of the farm they were passing. A gust of fire hit the thatch of the barn, and it caught fire.

Tyler tried not to squirm as he headed home from school on the chilly January morning, even though he knew what was waiting for him when he got there. It had been no ordinary Tuesday at school- then again, few days were 'ordinary' for the sixteen year old boy.

After a long hiatus, a group of eccentric superheroes reunite in Paragon City. Some changes take a long time to happen, some are sudden, some are more permanent, and one of the heroes is about to find out how true that is. It is a story of change and redemption.

[One month after Maxine had received that letter upon their return from France]

“Hello, I’m Maxine Saunders. I have an appointment with Dr Hillier at 2:30,” said Maxine.
She was the offices of a doctor just off of Harley St. Adrian had insisted that she do her transition properly but privately. Today was her first visit to the Psychologist who would supposedly help her transition.

“Dr Hillier is a little behind schedule today. Please take a seat. She should be ready to see you in ten minutes. Please take a seat,” said the receptionist.

It was my stag party last night and I’d just come to with my hands tied together. The lousy bastards that did this are supposed to be friends of mine.

So. Bobbie was still at work. It was August 26 already - just a few minutes after midnight. Back home in the States, it would be just past noon of August 25. Great. Just enough time.

Bobbie had hurried to wrap her once-a-month Sunday morning videoconference with the company's higher-ups scheduled for the last Sunday of the month (so no employees would be around), but since Bobbie was on the other side of the world, that meant it was Monday evening for her, and since they usually extended these meetings to just before noon, for them that is, then...

Normally, she wouldn't have minded, and her wife of over six years was understanding and knew these once-a-month meetings get extended all the time, but this was a special Monday for Bobbie - it was her tenth-year anniversary as a member in her favorite site, BigCloset Topshelf, and she wanted to post something on the site to commemorate this "momentous" occasion (she giggled at her use of the word), but she hadn't written it yet. That was why she was antsy, and was waiting impatiently for the meeting to end, so she could start writing it.

Raven glance at her image being reflected at her from the mirror. She almost didn’t recognize the pretty girl looking back at her. Her shoulder-length black hair framed her angelic face. The dress she was wearing, was one her and Clair had picked out together. It showed off her curves and her full breasts.

The silver cross that Mrs. Mercer had given her, hung almost to her cleavage. She takes a deep breathe ad center herself. Today was the day she was going to the events in the park with Clair. She grabs her favorite purse, which didn’t go with her dress at all.
