Jenny shivered in the cold draft wafting through the Emerald Gymnastics Center gymnasium and hugged herself, tracing and stroking her bare hands, peppered with white gymnastics chalk, over equally bare and chalky arms and shoulders, legs and knees, then trying to rub some warmth into the white-powdered soles of her bare feet, then coming back to rest on the soft, smooth, form-fitting Lycra of her sleeveless gymnastics leotard.

A College Outing Part 2

She was woken the next morning by Alice at her door. “Tracy, there’s somebody on the phone for you. They want a quote for the university paper.”

“I’m not here.”

“Really? You’re turning down a chance to be in the paper? Suit yourself, but I’d never do that.”

She told the person on the phone that Tracy refused to comment on whatever it was and hung up.

“Aren’t you running late for class?”

“I...I don’t feel well. I am not going today.”

Tanya was roused by the sound of the telephone ringing. She slowly became conscious enough to reach over to her bedside table and answer it, “Hello?”

“Why are you still asleep, bitch?” Cynthia’s sarcastic yet far too cheery voice berated her friend.

Grinning to herself, Tanya answered, “Well I did work last night.”

“Yeah? Well you were supposed to meet me at my place for breakfast, or had you forgotten?”

He's a fantastic solo writer and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to write this story with him. Now for a little info about the story.

Darren Peterman is a 16 year old high school football player who is at odds with his feminine side. As the title suggests, Darren's mother is his role model.

This story explores Darren's feelings as well as his family's as they struggle to define Darren's identity and gender. What would you think, do, and feel, if your parents told you they understood? Darren will try to answer those questions for himself and I suspect it will take more than a couple chapters.

This chapter simply carries the story along as the friends work out their lives back in the UK before returning to India to forward Pauls ambitions to help Hijras in India.
