I thought that I would try my hand at more of a light-hearted story again, seeing as its been about a year since I last wrote in this sort of style.

Chapter 39

The rest of my day ad my classes is pretty good. I actually spend a good deal of it thinking about my date with Emily though. Despite Neela the being with girls is still pretty new to me and it’s dating so it sort of doesn’t apply to Sasha or Alex times.

And I’m the one that asked her out and that to me at least makes it different.

I run into one of the girls from earlier at the coffee kiosk and she’s staring daggers at me.

I raise an eyebrow looking at her. “Problem?”

“Yeah, you think you’re hot shit don’t you?”

“Not really but honestly I don’t think I’m the problem.”

“No? You’re a fucking tranny, you’re nothing but fake…queer bullshit.”

"No, sir. I don't know why I noticed Joan out of all the natural girls in the school. We're not in the same classes. She's a freshman and I'm a sophomore. I'm going to be sixteen this year, and I am starting to notice girl shapes more and more. It was Joan that I noticed, though, and I was wondering if I could be her boyfriend."

Up until now, the lingering question has been, are there other's like Karen Shaw out there? Now, in chapter two, the reader will finally find out when Karen is transferred to a remote military base where she will be safe from the chaos that has descended upon the United States, indeed the rest of the world. But she may not be as safe as she initially perceives.
