The moment the warm glow of light enveloped me and my vision gradually sharpened, I was greeted by a cascade of intoxicating sensations: the sultry warmth of the air, a heady blend of floral perfumes, and the vibrant hum of animated voices. I had returned to our grand hall—a magnificent space awash in golden candlelight, where the flickering flames danced along the walls, casting playful shadows. Velvet pillows, luxurious and inviting, lay scattered around, while silk-draped columns towered majestically, their rich fabric flowing like water.

There are five girls in the kitchen, which serves to confuse me as Lauren had said only six girls were employed and I’d seen the bulk of them, or so I thought. It doesn’t take me long, however, to work out that for the event, outside help had been hired. This fact makes me even more self conscious as I enter the room, escorted by Brynna in my gray uniform; a dress that hangs just below my knees. One of the girls is significantly older than me, probably in her thirties with black hair trussed up into a bun and is mostly covered by a kerchief.

After flubbing a powerful incantation, meant to give newly coronated Demon Queens the wisdom of their ancestors, Devilla Satanne awakens to memories of her past life as Jacob Divington, a human from Earth. Having gained a new perspective on life, she quickly comes to a rather horrifying conclusion: she's been a complete and utter brat! No wonder everyone hates her!

And then there's the fact that she's apparently been reincarnated as the villainess of Tower Conquest, a lesbian porn game with a surprisingly intricate plot. One in which the Heroine conquers Dimona Tower, turning Devilla's people against her in the process. In victory, the Heroine brings about a glorious age of peace between demons and humans for the first time in millennia. ...Which actually sounds pretty good for her people, come to think of it. Devilla knows her terrible behavior is beyond forgiveness, but maybe she can still make up for her past mistakes? She just needs to make sure the events of the game unfold correctly. Though there is one little detail she'd like to change - the part where Devilla herself is killed or enslaved!

Summary of parts 1-4.

Stephanie and her partner Graham woke one morning in each other's bodies having undergone a mind-swap. They were sixteen year old students at a local school who only knew each other by sight. They managed to meet and bonded in an intense empathetic relationship that would eventually lead to marriage and a family. Subsequently they helped several other couples come together and were helped financially by a community of similarly bonded people who had material advantages, but not superhuman abilities.

“Did you sleep much?” Brynna’s standing behind me, doing something with my hair. I’ve finished showering and I’m mostly dressed for the day, save for the white apron that’s sitting folded on the table beside me. I manage to shake my head slightly, and tell her no. “Well there’s nothing to do for it,” I can hear the shrug in her voice as she braids the hair on the side of my head and loops it around the back to connect it with a braid she’s made on the other side.

The rest of the way to the mall, Sadie observed Chris’s process for his latest task. After seeing how it amused the others, as well as how fun it was to get Amy’s cousin to stumble through explanations of why he was saving each particular picture, she kept up the questions and comments. Despite the inappropriate nature of what they were talking about, Sadie somehow managed to keep up her innocent demeanor. It was a confusing contrast to Amy’s smug attitude and Julia’s more dominant energy.
