Yup, it only took me 7 hours to read all 19 chapters of Frills again.

I was curious because the chapter have a fairly good length to them so I timed it.
( and refreshed my memory of the whole storyline )

Since the demise of the category browser how do you go about searching out specific story categories?
I am finding it difficult to find some of the past stories that i don't remember the specific author or title
In the past you would simply access category browser and choose the subject or any of many categories to search what type of story you want

How in the current bc can you search specific story types without having to scroll down hundreds of titles to pick the few that meet you're criteria? ??

When I first posted Who Is Sylvia nearly eight years ago, one thing bothered by about Sylvia's behavior. She had spent most of her life repressing her sexuality. She'd never had sex with a man, or woman for that matter; however, when she determined she loved Phil Esterhazy, she rather enthusiastically threw herself into the role of lover. I took it too far, and had her do things that no woman who had suffered the trauma she'd had would do right off the bat.

The opening episode of Doctor Who (S9) was aired on BBC tonight. It's entitled 'The Magician's Apprentice' and forms the first half of a two-part adventure.

My initial impression is that it's the best episode since Peter Capaldi took on the role. He seems to have lost the 'what the hell have I let myself in for?' body language that plagued so much of the previous series, and may - finally - be about to stamp his undoubted talent on the character.

i've been slowly working my way through all the Retcon Universe stories and one thing has struck me. Every one of the stories, no matter who wrote them, has been totally logical in the context of the premise. What a group of talents went into these tales!

So, with that said, I just wanted to thank each and every one of the authors who contributed their storytelling skills collectively instead of commenting on each and every story, which would take months at the rate that I type.

Bit of a mixed day at work last night. I had some severe moments of pain, and a mild PTSD attack, but on the plus side, I applied for a less physical job.

I contacted Amazon, and I got a response very promptly. They have provided my account with a promotional credit in the amount of the bank charges, and their billing department will be investigating the issue. There is a possibility they may credit my bank account as well, but even if they don't I'm satisfied.

Sorry, this is just too funny. :D

To start with, my back hurts, and it's been this way for two weeks now, ever since I pulled a muscle during a not particularly violent sneeze. I've been applying a heating pad to it and that's been helping a lot, but it's still limiting how much I can do, and how long I can sit at the computer to write.

Sorry, but I have a lot on my mind right now, and I haven't posted a blog in awhile. It's not anything particularly bad, just a lot of "Huh" and "Hmm" things. :-)

I've been having problems with my internet for ages and in despair decided to go to a new provider. My phone has apparently gone over but my broadband hasn't. It would appear that my old provider has stopped my internet access so I'm having to make do with my mobile device which is slower and sometimes unreliable. Hopefully this will all be sorted out next week some time, so if I seem to be noticeable by my absence you know why.

As I've mentioned before, my muse had been hijacked for a time. With a lot of rope and a blindfold or two I've recaptured my muse and I'm learning how to point it in the direction I want.

My depression is a liar.

Here are just a few of the lies it tells me.

1) I am a failure. - This is the one that hits me most often. My depression is always ready with a list of my failures, when the truth is as long as I am still trying, I havent failed yet.

2) The darkness is permanent. - When I in that state, its hard to remember there is always light ahead.

3) I am helpless. - Very much not true. I can do many things to help myself

Reading the comments on Susan Brown’s Changes - 2 it was compared to Bike and something called VC. As an EAFOAB (Bike) and Changes fan I am intrigued.

Just finished rereading Karin Bishops On The Road Again. I love this story, but I must say part four is the best she'sever written. Just a plug for a wonderful writer. It's definitely worth purchasing and it helps BC with funds, Arecee

I've finally lost my patience with the file arrangement on my computer. Had a HD crash three years ago and the rebuild is effing chaos! The HD is 1tb and has over 1000 Doc files in a half dozen random nested directories. I don't even know what lots of the files are.

This is like totally my own fault and if I had a husband, he would spank me and then make me fix it my own self.

The main concern is that while I move all these files around the disk might get so fragmented that it loses things.

Those of you who bother to read my blog on a semi regular basis, are aware that I don't wear men's clothes at all, except at work. That doesn't mean that I don't present a masculine image on occasion, such as church and family events. (Not all my family is aware of my trans nature.)

A sensitive article which tries to stay balanced, sadly some of the comments aren't. It must be very difficult treating children with gender issues. Well done the parents who do their best for their kids. I learned of one near here who's transitioned from FtM recently and his fellow pupils are supporting him. On the reverse I know of someone who is teen/early twenties who nearly went for surgery and has now apparently reverted to being a male again. It's a real minefield.

'Boy Meets Girl' is a new BBC sitcom set in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It's the first transgender themed comedy to be made in the UK, and features trans actress Rebecca Root in one of the lead roles. As far as I know, it has no connection to the recent movie of the same name.

Some know immediately something went wrong in that stupid gender blender where boys come out as boys and girls come out as girls and..., hey! Someone read the card wrong. Thank God these people live in a place where they understood rather than waiting until she was eighteen and could take control of her life herself.

It is with great joy that I can say that words are once again pouring out of my finger tips and I hope that what results will please my two fans. As I once did before, the story will have lots of Middle Eastern culture, a bit of religion, and lots of scientific research in it.

I'm trying to explain things that people don't know along the way. Some of it will force you to use Google if you really want to know. Yes, there is TG/Intersex content, and is Forced Fem to a very limited extent. As to the FF content, just remember "What you meant for evil, came out to my advantage". :)

There are some things in life that are unobtainable, like the legendary white stag. Everyone has that one thing they've wanted, and every organization has that one lofty goal that every member seeks.

Today (or, in point of fact, last night,) I have obtained one of those goals.

I am now a full-time employee.

I don't know about the rest of you but I find the tiny house movement fascinating, especially in what I believe it can tell us.

I believe taking some of the Tiny House architecture techniques(the hidden spaces) into the commercial housing industry will work wonders. Notably, talking to a homeowner to create a minimalist aesthetic in practice will create untold peace and productivity as well. Add a little bit of natural human chaos and you have a real positive architecture movement taking hold.

Looking for someone familiar with or willing to familiarize themselves with my Slacker story... Slacker five is ready, but needs a once over as i don't always trust my writing *smirk*

Wow! if it is enforceable, this is a major plus for the transsexual community as a whole in the United States. My question will be, will this ruling only affect those who are on Obama Care insurance or will it become inclusive to all health care policies for everyone across the nation? I have not been an Obama supporter but I will change much of my protest of his policies if he can make this stick. I know that the religious right will fight this tooth and nail. I just hope in the end they get their teeth knocked out.

In chapter 1 of the Dark Realms story, My So Called (Un)Life, Loki has the protagonist sitting on a rooftop, performing Bother by Stone Sour. I followed the link, snagged the video, and uploaded a reprocessed version with an uncensored audio track.

Wearing my LBD, corset, appropriate padding and short bob style brunette wig, my biggest eyelashes and light makeup, dark red fingernails and my male mode slippers as my neighbours are complaining when I wear my heels... finishing off a bottle of nice Italian wine. Alone...

My "girlfriend" of the last 3+ years had not even bothered to try to meet me on her birthday several days ago, and last time I've seen her in person was somwhere in July...

Erin, I can't add a chapter II to the series Horse Talk. I don't have a "my stories link" or a way to edit the story. Might have to do with others posting my stories before I ever logged onto BC.

If you can and don't mind, add Chapter II to the second Horse Talk post. If it is too much trouble ignore it. The readers can figure it out. I'll be sure to add chapter numbers from here on out.

As BarbieLee posted via blog earlier today about the woman who's parents tried to block her GRS, justice this once is done. I have just read and her-by post the article showing that justice in this case is fulfilled. To say the least, I'me amazed!! The USA justice system is so broken and corrupt.

Okay, here is a bit of a giggle for you all.

When I got my tire replaced, I was told I would have to come back in to get something done after 50 k or so, so when I woke up this afternoon I phoned about making an appointment.

Now, because I had to sign legal stuff, I was using my male name when talking with the guy.

Except that when he was talking to me on the phone, he called me ma'am.

Apparently, my voice is feminine enough that he ... slipped up, as it were.

Not that I mind ...

An author once challenged me for posting a comment to one of her stories that I had not finished reading, from which I had bailed out early. I remarked that, were I to wait for completion before writing my own life’s story, it would have to be after I had crossed over to the other side…in which case, I would need to employ a “ghost” writer. Having just read The Old Alhambra and A Gift for Alex, I am sure I know who I would like that ghost writer to be.

Well i'm back three weeks after leaving, almost to the hour as I write this.

So, i'm back from Friesland (different areas spell it differently) with a bunch of photos, tired legs and a couple of kilos less me! The sun didn't always shine but we both enjoyed the 1400km plus trip.
We visited 8 islands, used 13 ferry services, enjoyed blistering heat and thunderstorms and took @ 3000 photographs!

Now i'm back home normal service should resume this week and i'll crack on with more writing - 39 more chapters to write of book 14!

Well, this has been an ... eventful move.

Broke my bed, my laundry hamper, had a flat tire, and generally felt useless as I was too weak to help lift very much.

On the other hand, we're here, we're mostly unpacked, and it could be a lot worse.
