I got home and locked the door before rushing up to my bed and throwing myself upon it. I cried for a while and then must have fallen asleep. I awoke to the phone ringing. It took me a moment to recognise where I was, and when I sat up my eyes felt red and sore and my mouth was thick and sticky.

"Hello?"

Authors note, I wanted to put a little of Alicia's past in this story. I didnt know it would take so many pages but I felt it had to be included> I hope that the intense subject matter or length doesn't put anyone off. Here I am back home where my Mom is taking care of me ever since I got sick from going to see my beloved husband Mark. He is currently serving a tour in the HOSPITAL WITHOUT WALLS in Africa.
