Nikki’s going home to her folks place and…so am I.

I mean my home not her home and I’ve wanted to sort of do this for a couple of weeks now.

I need to have a family talk and see where they are about all of this and about me and I’ll have to talk to mom first since she’s the only one that I know of out of the family that was in the running. She’ll hopefully be okay enough with things that we can hash all of this out and help me with the paper work that Victory has given me so that she and dad can sign off on Darcy so there’s an official if needed paper trail.

Now do I drive and go as Dale or do I pack a bag and things and fly there as Darcy/Scarlet?

Chapter 2.

The following morning she was busy in the library when a cup of coffee suddenly appeared at her elbow. A voice whispered softly to avoid disturbing other students.

“Here you are girl. Coffee break though a bit early for elevenses.”

She looked up and grinned as she recognised first the voice then the face.

“Thanks Henry. You’re thoughtful and you remembered about my tutorial.”

“Can't stay long darling. I’ve got to make the gym, training for the rowing.”

Alright, so it's been a month since I posted anything; my bad. I do have a few things to say in my defense.

Thing one, I can now announce what one of the projects taking up my time is. I am a Generation 2 Whateley Academy canon writer, and I'm currently writing one of the stories for that universe. It's taking up a fair amount of my time, but the payoff will be worth it.

The other thing is a book, that many of you should already know a little about. Unfortunately, in order to get the book published professionally I have to write the entire tale at once before any of it sees the light of day. Currently, I'm on book 2 of that, and expect to be done in another ten days or so - the holidays have been hectic for me.

But enough about me... on to Room in Hell, chapter 22, where we find out about the Anti Demon Task Force health plan.

“Welcome to the Raven’s Perch,” Jenken smiled as he approached them reaching out to Misty for a hug. “I’m Jenken and I know you’re Misty Dawn.” Then he turned to Serenity for a hug. “You’re Serenity. Judy and JJ have spoken highly about you both. They and the rest of the family are currently busy with customers. Please, take this table. I’ll get you menus and let the others know you’re here. Please, select anything you’d like, it’s on the house as thanks for coming to talk with us.”

Misty and Serenity were clearly surprised by the effervescent and well spoken child and took the seats at the table. When Jenken returned with the menus he touched their minds, first to keep them calm, then to telepathically speak to them.

“Please relax, I’m communicating telepathically. I’m going to link your minds so we can have a silent discussion. Just think what you want to say and we’ll ‘hear’ it.”
“This is impossible,” Misty and Serenity mentally burbled.

“Not with me,” Jenken smiled. “I’m quite unique. Please, make your selections while I let Judy and JJ know you’re here.”

Misty and Serenity were stunned as Judy and JJ both joined in their mental discussion to welcome them to the Raven’s Perch. They stated they were busy with customers but would be over for proper welcomes as soon as they could, then they disconnected.

The women had been able to tell when Judy and JJ joined them and when they left. They also were able to recognize their ‘voices’.

Sophie is caught wearing mum's new dress. This would be fine ..... except that Sophie is a 15 year old boy. Sophie's mum is, not unreasonably, upset and angry. Next day, Sophie is taken shopping for her proper clothes.

One of the minor characters is in a SisterDom story "You want to be in the Gang".

I left Jimmy to his own devices and went to the bedroom and put on a bathing suit. Heading for the deck outside I grabbed my phone and called Katie. Settling in on a lounger, Katie picks up, "What's up auntie?"

And then I can see the shorelines and then just out about a mile from the shore and the beaches is…
The White Spire… out on the coast… City Island…that’s actually the name of this place the only city that is on an island here and not just bordering the water.
Home of mother’s house…House Petrel.
The keep is all of pale sandstone blocks as in the wall for the city but The White Spire as well…it’s is actually a beacon within a tower an ancient marvel and responsibility called a lighthouse.
The whole city as I’m coming down is both more lovely than I remember with there being the same sort of colors around so much here and stone homes great and small to weather all manner of storms and clay interlocking tiled roofs.
People are pointing, bells are being wrung and men at arms are running out of barracks into the courtyard armed with spears and crossbows and cutlasses.
The bubble breaks and I fall as soon as I try to stand and my legs are too numb.
I yell though. “Fetch Grandfather! Please now!”

Our flight continued. We were told to divert to New York for debriefing, but when the pilot made the plane’s billionaire owner aware of it, that order was quickly rescinded and we were able to go straight home. Score: one for the people, zero for the bureaucrats. I loved it. It helps when the people have lots of money and connections. What about my confrontation? Didn’t happen. I pictured myself sitting down for debriefing with an old man with a clipboard. It turned out to be an intelligent, attractive young woman named “Laura”.
