Synopsis: A young man awakens in a strange room, in the body of a younger girl. He finds out why he's there, but refuses to accept his feelings

Chapter 5

I jolted awake from a tangled mass of fuzzy dreams and stared around at the unfamiliar bedroom around me. Where was I? What…this place was…oh god…

When I woke the next day Angela was gone. I was sprawled alone in her bed, face down, drinking the smell of her from the sheets.

What a night it had been.

I found my clothes, dressed myself, and wandered into the living room where Nick, Sasha, Gabe and David were curled up, naked. By the looks of them they’d had the same kind of fun. Figuring they needed the rest I stepped over them and made as quiet an exit as I could.

My dreams are always surreal, but very rarely involve sex of any kind. So, when the image that inspired this story cropped up for a few seconds one night, it stood out in later recollection. I decided that it just might be worth fleshing out... so to speak.

“Is this light?”

“Yes… This is light.”

Brian Donovan glanced at the array of telemetry that offered a vast variety of colorfully lit dials and information. The machine sat quietly in its metal chair, arms and legs restrained. It glanced as far around the laboratory as its range of neck motion would allow.

“Am I dreaming?” The machine asked in its slightly higher pitched androgynous voice.

“No machine… You are not dreaming.” Doctor Donovan glanced at the machine and smiled. “You are in real time.”

TG Limerick Day

May 12 was National Limerick Day because it is the birthday of Edward Lear, who is credited with popularizing that poetic form in his Book of Nonsense, published in 1846.

So I decided to compose a few TG limericks for today.

1. There once was a boy from Purdue,
Who thought he was really a Sue.
She put on a skirt, turned into a flirt,
And sings in a café near you.

This is a teaser to you, and a test of the waters for me. I am working hard to get to a point where I can give it to you to read. I should have the first chapter up within the month, I know that that kind of wait is a lot to ask you to hold onto this with the hope that you will get to see it soon.

Thank you Grandpa we will be glad to look around and Uncle Nicholas is also dying to get ashore.”

“Lucy we will sail through the night so you can have longer in the town and you will be fresh when we arrive in Russia.”

It was now several days since Gaby & her families visit. Also since the appearance of Lord Snow and his brother things where slightly different. The centre was once again open to the paying public and since the Water Park had opened the numbers of clients had considerably increased.

Alexis had decided that as the estate owner she should re-open the village store.

“Alexis we could run that if you wished?”

Alexis, “Aunts I see you are having a chat with Liza who is one of my Mer companions.”

“You’re Aunts & their flights have volunteered to help locate my missing sisters Alexis.”

Alexis, “Aunts you could always have said no.”

Angela came running down. “Where are they?”

Saskia, “The other hobbits are following them. They went that way have we to go back to the manor?”

“Tanya when did you get here?” Exclaimed Helen.

Alice, “I understand you are here to teach the little misses dancing. Would it be an imposition to ask you to give credence to the idea that there may be older ones who also may like lessons but are embarrassed to be seen doing it with the little ones.”

Jenny, “I will give it thought.”

Alexis and group went for a meal to Merry Old England that was situated down one of the many Passageways in Leeds. After that they made their way home.

Linze, “Mind if I look at your trinket box Astrid.

Astrid, “I might even put on some of these tomorrow.”

Linze looked at one item, “Astrid I did not notice this before.”

The Manageress, “We never got to introduce ourselves properly. I am Doris & my sister is Dora she and Christobell have been friends for a in time. Come let’s get to the shop as I need to deal with the mail & find some staff.”

As they were speaking young woman came in and said, “Excuse me do you happen to know if the owner is hiring as I am looking for a job and so is my twin sister?”

Alexis held her hand out and said, Alexis Middleham or to be exact Lady Middleham. Madam Lord Percy has been on my back about having Lady Allison as a junior reporter. You have your own column called Lady Allison's column. I also have to give you a massive wage increase and he would like you to consider writing a column my life with my new family.”

Alexis, “As you can see she is very week and had to have a considerable amount of blood,”

Chapter 21 Loads of Sea Sprites

Gaby, “Ariel, Lorelei & Robyn. “Will look after you & take you to see Helen & Daisy although they will be very busy. You will have to obey those three as if they where your real mothers.” Helen & Daisy kissed their daughter good-by as they left with the Simone's.

The call from Mistress Andrea made my day. I hadn't seen her for over a week and was

I apologize for the delay in posting. I decided to do a last minute rewrite of a couple of scenes.

A successful woman is convinced a female lead marriage is the best path forward and as her career is taking off, her unemployed husband is expected to fill traditional female roles like homemaker and nursing mother.
