Life sure takes some rather interesting, heck, even what I'd call weird turns, let me tell ya!

I bet you won't believe that, just a few days ago, I was Ransom Bermondsey, up and coming movie and TV star here in wonderful LA!

Yeah, yeah, I'm not actually famous. Well, let me restate that, who I used to be wasn't actually famous.

This, then, is the story of what happened to me when my cousin Jezabelle and her twin sister Jazmin wreaked havoc with the Gloo!

The year was 1887 and Marshal Steven Whitlock was hot on the heels of the Dermit gang when they were all thrown from their horses by a fiery explosion in the sky. Waking four hundred years later, he finds himself and the world radically changed.

On a great lake lives a community of people after the fall of civilization.

Chapter Two: TransVixen begins

Wendy convinces Panti and Cherri to front the band in their femme personas and gets the other musicians onside and smartened up. Trouble arises when the shady businessman reneges on the deal for their debut venue. Panti decides to visit the businessman and see if she can't change his mind.

Mercy's adventure is over, but there are still some loose ends to tie up.

A Slave of Jupiter is an independent sequel to A Princess of Jupiter. You might want to read that story first to get the context, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

Casey Brooke receives a visitor from Jupiter requesting help to save the planet. Chapter Three – Michele’s Story

It is obvious to all, especially Spike, that Michele is very effeminate and far too adept at crossdressing to have just picked up the skills required to transform from recruit sailor to sexy Wren overnight. She is confronted by Spike and with a little coaxing she tells him of her turbulent past, and why she ran away and joined the navy.

"Men, this is it, the Midway of our time," the crackly male voice spoke boldly through the speakers. "The Targ have sacked their last planet. No longer will we give them ground. No longer will we let them threaten our existence."

It was April 5th, 2365. Humanity faced a threat from the stars unlike any other, and for the astrosailors of the Fighting 3rd Fleet, this was the day that changed everything. The largest task force the deadly Targ had ever assembled was on its way to Gliese 667, and they were bringing their newest secret weapon.

For the obviously female Lt Commander Elisabeth Orpha, as well as the other women of the fleet, it meant putting aside disagreements over command's rampant misogyny. All that mattered was survival. For if the 3rd Fleet falls, Earth will fall with them.

It was the summer of 1987 and I was sixteen – almost seventeen. Scrawny in those days and usually displaying at least a couple of grazes from a skateboarding mishap. The wounds might have been more important than the boarding skills: badges of honor that even an uncoordinated kid could acquire.

Fred hit a ramp that veered off to the right and the helicopter swung around to be seen clearly from the passenger window.

“Hey, the chopper is the other way!” I said more shrilly than intended.

Derek snorted. “Fourteen kilometers of proper highway versus eleven through the Old Quarter and possible crowds? Chill. Fred knows what he’s doing.”

Chapter 13 - Beacon

Tsáyidiel knelt upon the stone with two sets of dark wings covering an otherwise bare and human back. The air was warm, and the bright sunless sky stretched above with fluffy clouds hinting at towers and walls. The grass tickling at bare toes was the first indication that my attire had changed.

One look and it was decided that if the subconscious had chosen this outfit, me and her were going to have a chat. At length.

So this is my first attempt at writing a story for the Whateley Universe. I originally started this several years ago but after a few chapters I found myself with serious writers block. Recent stories on here and on the Whateley site have encouraged me to reattempt the story. This is only the prologue. There is hopefully much more to come. Of course any help would be appreciated and if you spot any mistakes or issues don't hesitate to let me know. I will apologise in advance if I have made any mistakes with the lore.

“Jordan, perhaps you can elucidate to the class how the emergence of powered individuals has disturbed the foundation and premise of the law and structure of the United States?”

Rabbi Kirov was picking on me again. When I had received my schedule I’d discovered that he had wedged his own class onto the list: The Ethics of Super-powered Beings. Now we were at the end of the second week and he already had established to everyone that I was some sort of teacher’s pet. He kept selecting me non-stop to answer questions or to reiterate the passages in the assigned reading texts. It had gotten out of hand, and I was so going to yell at him at our private magic practice session come Monday.
