Jeanie strikes back at her abusive husband by passively nurturing her son’s fascination with women’s clothing.

“Ok, no more heels on the way home, let's go shopping.” And she picked up her bag, handed me one of Bev’s jacket’s and we went to get a more suitable pair of shoes for school. I wore them home and felt at least now I will fit in with the girls. They may not have been as cute as the heels or as nice as the ankle boots I really wanted, but I knew what I was going to do in the morning. Tomorrow I would go to school as a girl for the entire day.

“Can I ask you something?” I say to him. “Sure, what do you want to ask?” he replies. I pause for a bit, do I really want to say this and spoil the moment, is the fantasy better that what might go wrong? “It was something Jo said.” I say, I didn’t want to mention her name in case it broke the spell, but Jo is my friend and I know I am flirting with her boyfriend, but I also need to know this. “She said that we both gave you an erection and I wanted to know if I had caused some of it?” I look away, embarrassed.

Chapter Five – Penelope

The final chapter. Will Steve and Penelope catch the serial killer before he can kill again and will Penelope find true love with Jaylene?

Chapter Three – Susan

The identity of the killer and his backstory is revealed but not to the police who continue their investigation. Steve's moral courage is tested when temptation comes his way. Penelope continues to remain sober and a valuable asset to the Task Force.

Chapter One - April

Detectives Steve Edwards and Penelope Bishop are chasing a serial killer targeting trans women. Penelope is battling her own demons after the fallout from the Lipstick Killer case and whilst Steve is deeply in love with trans drag queen Felicity Goodnite he is tempted to stray. This is a five-part thriller with plenty of bumps and curves.

Chapter Three – Hamburger Mary’s

Beautiful but damaged drag queen Felicity Benson continues her crusade of revenge which requires intrepid trans detective Penelope Bishop to travel to the scene of the crime where her partner, Steve Edwards, discovers incriminating evidence which he keeps to himself, at least for now.
