The Girl I Undressed Part 1 of 5

Author's note: I took a long break from this story because I was trying to figure out how to write fighting scenes better, especially since it is a huge part of the story at this time. I think I have come up with a battle sequence that should be intense and fun to read. So I went back to the setup to add more details to getting them armored up. I hope you enjoy the upcoming chapters.

Prologue: Welcome to Aurelia, Meow!

The package was the type that set off alarm bells in parents’ minds while sending a thrill of excitement through teenagers. Its sleek black cardboard exterior exuded an air of mystery, and the silver foil logo gleamed like a tantalizing mirage, catching the light with an almost hypnotic shimmer: AURELIA ONLINE.

Dave's word was good. I spent the weekend watching TV. Football and old movies. All I normally got was cooking shows and old reruns of old soaps. For a few hours, I forgot that I was sitting watching TV in a frilly red baby doll. with matching knickers.

My first client was two guys who wanted a maid. I arrived and was told to change in the bedroom by a middle aged bald guy. When I got back downstairs, I saw the other man was younger and around 6f tall.

"Get us some beers bitch" said the tall guy.

Chapter 42: Call to Carter

The next two days stretched on like an endless nightmare for Yuqi and Sapphire. They maneuvered around each other with a tension so thick it was almost palpable, each encounter a choreographed dance of avoidance. Every glance was carefully measured, and every interaction strained with an undercurrent of animosity, as they both played their parts in this twisted charade.

A woman wakes in an alley with no name, no memories, and a haunting sense that something is terribly wrong. But one word stirs something deep Artemis. With only that name and flashes of strange things, she’s thrust into a world she doesn’t recognize. As she searches for clues to her identity and what happened to her it becomes clear her past isn’t just lost… it may be dangerous.

This story is a follow up story to Eidolon Nexus: The Shattered Realm however it is not necessary to read the previous story if you don’t want to as with the main character having no memory it works if you have or haven’t read it. After a week spent in the ass-crack of nowhere tracking a hellbeast through a bug-infested swamp, Shadow couldn't wait to get back to civilization so he could have a meal he hadn't cooked, sleep in a proper bed, and have a bath that didn't leave him smelling like a bog. Shadow and his compatriots had spent all of yesterday tromping through the muck to get back to the only paved road that traversed the swamp, and most of today riding out of it.

Stephanie pressed to receive the call and put it on speaker phone for Graham to listen.

A broad Scotts accent said. “Am I through to the Help Line?”

“If it is the Help Line you read after the Podcast, then, Yes.”

“I am told my name is Kirsty, although until two days ago it was Hamish. I am sitting with Kirsty’s Mum, Lucy.”
