Jess and I were about to leave the airport to go to the Breakers. I turned to her and asked, “Do I look OK?” I was wearing a batik print dress that came to just above the thigh and a pair of Tom’s canvas espadrilles. I would have worn sandals but it was too cold.

“Stop it. You look gorgeous. That dress is perfect. I can’t believe you put in all this effort for the plane,” Jess said.

My friends were telling me that it's really number fifty-two because I turned sixteen for the first time way before the turn of the millennium. I might have turned sixteen way back then, but it wasn't sweet!

Read my previous short solo “Brianna and Jayden - A TG Dress Shop Story” from 2015 for the back story. Reviewers asked for a continuation, but my mind has been away from fiction writing. In the last two years society has changed and Jayden has learned a great deal about herself. She is excited to talk again with Brianna. Let's listen in as they come to closure.

It's Great Being Sweet Sixteen!

Tomorrow is my Sweet Sixteen! The first day of the rest of my life!

Being sixteen is like, so kewl. I get to do things with my boyfriend. If I was fourteen, people would look at us weird. I mean, I'd still be cute and everything, but they would look at him like he's a pervert or something.

At sixteen, I'm still real cute, but I'm old enough for all that fun stuff. He's like twenty, so he's an expert. He knows how to make me scream.

He says that he's too cool, but I know how to make him scream too.

“Ahh…” I sigh happily as I slide my sweat-stained pink tights off my smooth, glistening legs. “That feels SO much better…”

“Ugh, I hear you,” Ashley sighs as she does likewise. “Never thought I’d EVER get sick of wearing tights…”

“Oh trust me,” I giggle, “come October, you will be BEGGING to be allowed to wear them!”

“What else is new?” Mia teases the blonde girl, who blushes as she covers her spaghetti-strapped leotard with a loose summer dress.

Be aware that I am notorious for gaps of many weeks between the parts of my stories. This one was sitting for months, before I decided to post it. I will produce at least one other chapter this week, and post it before next weekend. After that ... well, it will depend on whether you guys can encourage me to continue.

We were walking into the apartment after dinner with my parents.

“What’s wrong with this outfit?” I was wearing a blue women’s oxford shirt, black skinny jeans, boots and a black blazer.

“Nothing,” Jess said, with a smile. “You actually look really good. Clothes look good on you.”

“Why did she say something then?”

She laughed, "That is a separate question.”

“Why is she pushing my buttons?”

Jess grinned widely. “She installed them.”

I rang the doorbell and Sammy opened it rather quickly. She smiled at me, gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

“Hi Randy, thanks for coming.” Sammy said excitedly.

“Thanks for inviting me.” I replied happily.
