Lately a certain author on several TG websites has come under attack for his clumsy efforts.

Sure, his writing is pathetic in that it lacks any degree of normal structure, but is that adequate reason to bury him under scorn?

It's been almost a year and a half since my last blog entry, there's been a lot of keeping on keeping on, and some dark times.

Well, I got a repreive at the agency today. They have decided that even without the medical, my gender issues are enough by themselves to qualify me for assistance. I will have to get the doc to say he is sending me to the specialist, which shouldnt be as much of a problem. So, i go from no hope back to some hope in one move.

Phew! It's taken long enough, but finally the EAFOAB Episode Summaries are completely up to date.

Every single one of the 1,020 episodes to date has been summarised and entered into a Google spreadsheet. I intended to complete it before we reached 2¹⁰ episodes, and I've succeeded :)

I don't know what happened to me! It is not my fault, I did nothing wrong! My intentions were pure before Allah SWT!

It was pure boredom, and in total desparation, that I turned that glass thing on in the living room, and after a short time found myself laughing until my sides split. And to my total shock found that the program I was watching was called "Friends"! OH MY! What has happened to me! I solemly swear that I never watched that program before because it causes brain damage to anyone I know who has watched it.

If there is a yank living in the UK, would you please contact me? I am going to live in Cleveland until May, and am entertaining the idea of just living temporarily in a few different places as long as my health holds out. Yesterday, the Doc said that I could go 20 or 30 years, and if that is the case, I will wear my chair out long before then if I keep sitting in it. There is not a single member of my family who would want to know about me.

That's that for the time being. I've managed to bring the story to a point where various things conclude satisfactorily. I'm now going to put it on the back burner while I scratch some other itches.

Since September 2008 I have been following the story of Hotaru Ferschke, the Japanese born Marine wife whose husband died in Iraq. She and her husband were married by proxy while he was serving in Iraq. Hotaru was pregnant with his son. Immigration has since denied the mother permanent residency in the United States.

If you want to read more Hotaru, there are many good articles and blog posts on the internet. I can't recall seeing one that defends the actions of United States Immigration.

I was sorting through a stack of paperwork, hunting for an unpaid bill, when I happened upon one of my old journals where I kept story ideas. GASP! You would not believe what I found! Giggle!!!!!!

Well, the medicenter was a bust. My knees are not bad enough to qualify me for help on that basis. I am still going to the appointment on thursday, but i am not hopeful. Trying to keep my chin up, but its starting to look like a full time dorothy is a pipe dream. sigh.

Okay, so. In February 2009, I asked for some help to make sure I didn't end up homeless. Thanks to PayPal's being... difficult, none of the extremely nice folks that tried to help me out were able to do so and anyone that sent me anything was refunded about a week later.

I'm happy, and thankful, to be working again as of tomorrow.

On the other hand, why is it every freaking motel room looks just like every OTHER motel room!

The Labour Party's Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transsexual Society were in the Greencoat Boy pub in Westminster, central London, when a row broke out. The duty manager is alleged to have refused them service and said that had he known they were a gay group he would not have accepted their booking. Punch Taverns, which owns the pub, has launched an investigation.

I found this to be an interesting essay. The comments below it are almost as interesting. The article reveals the sometimes contentious views about the term transgender, in all its ramifications, and how it's use as an umbrella term may trample on self identities.

So, things are not going well, and I am struggling to keep going regardless. But, life sucks, and thats the truth, and mooping about wont change it. Time to take control of what I can, and leave the rest to God.

I am feeling depressed and discouraged over my employment situation(or lack thereof)I interviewed for a job and they asked me if I was available for two weeks training before they opened. I said yes and they led me to believe I would be getting a call. Apparently, they decided not to give me a chance. If there is one thing about being Trans that I do have a problem with, it is putting up with all the blatant job discrimination out there. I have applied for over 500 jobs in the last three years and I very rarely get an interview or even a chance to prove myself.
