well, i had a busy day today. I sent off a couple of resumes, i phoned some colleges regarding the program i want, i got a doctors appt. for tomorow to get a letter for the funding people, i also phoned the goverment to get a copy of my tax form that i needed, and even got a little writing done for my next story. As a reward for my hard work, i took all the bottles i have been collecting and took them to a depot, and took the money and went to a consignment shop and found a couple of new items to wear as dorothy. All in all, a good day.

I had been saying that I was going to rework the last post of "Princess For Hire," but for now I've decided to leave it as is and move on, working until I finish the story. After that, I'll go back and fix things, but if I get caught up reworking everything I've already done I'm never gonna finish the story... and I don't think people want that.

Right now I'm feeling a mix of elation and sadness. A story I've lived with, thought about and sweated over for years is finished. It's never easy to let your children go, I know this because my youngest is moving out on her own tomorrow, both instances are bittersweet but tell me that I've managed to do something right even with all the mistakes made along the way.

I am in Thailand and tomorrow morning 9am local time, I am born again. I have been told I am a Tuesday Girl and it really is true. I will be reborn 6 July 2010 at 9am. I am terribly excited and am looking forward to everything. If everything goes as planned, I do my FFS on 20 July, but only if I behave and do exactly as I am suppose to do. Of course I will behave as I need this to be complete.

well, i put a little make-up on for pride tonight. bought some eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick (although it wasnt a stick, but with a brush - so more like lip paint) from a dollar store and am trying it out. I am not likely to get much chance to practice, so I am stuck wishing i looked less like a clown.

I know that it seems the GLB community would really love to lose the T section completely, but I saw this posted on Twitter, and I thought that it was a really telling reversal in one Christian group's attitudes toward the "alternative sexualities".

Tolerance is a strange thing.

The other day I was "trapped" in a rural part of our state with extremely limited radio reception. In other words I was forced to listen to a big fat idiot or drive endless miles with no radio to ease the boredom. This highly successful ranter stated, "The oil spill in the Gulf is equal to a drop of oil in a bathtub."

zzzzzzzz...ugh, what? Oh, yeah, I'm writing something, huh? What was it about...zzzzz...ZZZZZ...zzz...Whu? Oh, yeah, just a sec...*BAM* (smacks head into wall). OK, I'm awake, for now. So, uh, what was I saying? Oh yeah, writing stuff. So, I haven't gotten any writing done in a couple of weeks now. Really busy lately. And haven't gotten a good night's sleep in, like, a month or so. Camping was fun, though...

 
I had originally written this as a comment to chapter six, Love is in the Air, but I kind of got on a roll and wrote more than I felt comfortable placing in my own story comments section, SO! I'm posting this here, and I'll probably child page it under Chapter Six for organization's sake. Thank you everyone, for your continued support. It really does mean a lot to me :-D

I will be away on holiday from tomorrow for a week. I'm staying in the UK - actually up in the Lake District at a friend's house. I will try and post a few episodes, but can't promise anything as I don't think my dongle will work - my friend's house doesn't have good mobile reception.

Normal service will be resumed when I get home - I did ask Bonzi to cover for me, but he declined, threatening to kill all my characters, 'cos I'm not taking him with me - can't get his bike in the car (or that's what I told him).
