Yes i know some of you get higher temperatures but for this little island sitting above 50 degrees latitude, that's north of the major Canadian cities and all the USA except Alaska, doesn't often get temperatures into the 30's C.

I am too busy with other things. I think that it might be fun to do a story of when there was little or no ice in Antarctica. Sickem... Have fun. Get that sex change in there too.

That, folks, was the end of 'Closing Doors', as the last sentence carries a huge amount of freight for those who know the full extent of Mike's story. I feel it wraps up the story arc neatly, and didn't want to over-egg things. As I explained in a comment, it is the reason I chose Diane as the narrative voice, so as to bring neutrality to events that will have left Mike incoherent.

It used to be that a good story was posted a chapter or two at a time and I got sucked into the story and invested in the characters; then without warning, the story was abandoned. That doesn't bother me so much any more. There seems to be very few of them that have had that happen.

I swear the months are getting shorter

I have this evening just been released from hospital this evening, after suffering another stroke. I have received the best treatment from an updated stroke unit which is being improved again. I thank them for treating me with their first class therapy including a new clot-buster drug, which hope has sorted my problem. I hope to be writing again soon,

So, I find myself listening to software narrated science fiction stories on YouTube lately, based on the concept of HFY, or "Humans, Fuck yeah" from the r/HFY subreddit, and have contemplated writing something based on the concept. As such, I am wondering how such a story might be viewed here, since it is mostly science fiction and not erotica as so much seems to be lately. Any pointers or guidance?

Hello everyone, Alyssa here, writing more bloggy things when I should be writing stories.

Fear not, Fake it 2 is on the go, but I had to take a short break for what was INTENDED to be a quick edit of my story Angel On Her Wing with the intent of passing it to my editor for publishing. Unfortunately, I realized the first half was kinda novelaesque and the second half... novel. So I had to fix it!
