A “Touch Starved” person in Germany

Today one of the “Random Solo” recommendations was Touch Starved by Bailey Summers (her main story content page is here). We would all do well read this powerful, raw and painful story. Despite the “Adult Oriented” rating this story is absolutely NOT erotica, graphic sex or porn, but just pure emotional pain and desperation, that fortunately ends in a glimmer of hope.

Excerpt From _Angel of Peace_

"You're writing a book?

"Many newspeople do. Most don't get published."

"I doubt there's much about me you don't already know."

"What about your time in the First World War?"

"That didn't last very long, and in most ways was unremarkable."

"You did fight in the trenches, though."

"For a short period."

"What do you remember about that? Does anything stand out?"

A Question for Commenters

Comments and feedback.

I want to ask a question:

Commenters, guests, authors. What are the things that make you WANT to comment on a story? What kinds of things do you need to see, need to be able to talk about, to make commenting worthwhile?

Now that "Charlotte' is done...

It was a relief to finish Charlotte Had A Boyfriend. It was a lot more work than it may seem. For many weeks, writing it was my full-time job. Seriously. I've never worked this hard on a story before. Something changed in my approach. I'm not going to quantify or explain it, except to say that my writing method or strategy or technique has gotten more defined. Easier in many ways, but it takes longer.

October Story Entry: The Code is Veronica

I am going to throw my proverbial hat into the ring with this year's October contest...
A girl is cast into the nightmare world of a new high school and the terrors within.

The September 2024 AACD Caption Story Contest Poll is Live

My apologies on how long this took folks! Not to say too much, but there's been some Personal Stuff in my life that's gotten in the way of us getting this taken care of this past week.

That said, without further ado, the poll for the winner of the September AACD Caption Story Contest is now live over on the Patreon page. Anyone should be able to vote, so we hope people take the time to let us know what their favorite stories were!

Open Arms Chapter 2: Someone

I apologize not working on any of my ideas in a timely matter...
I have had a little bit of inspiration to work on "Open Arms", a prequal to "Circle in the Sand" and "Release Me."
I may be able to post it later on this week, or at least by the weekend along with the last chapter of "I Don't Like You".

It's not my place to tell people what to do

But someone took the time to write an homage-sequel, or an homagequel if you will, to an old forgotten story which was poorly written by an amateur writer and expertly revised by a talented and kindhearted editor.

A very unBruish Bru story coming up

Think about what you believe characterizes a Bru story. Now forget that. This story is not anything like that. For one thing it’s > 22 000 words long.

I will post it within the next few days when I have looked at the feed-back that Jill (Angela Rasch) very kindly has given me.

Otherwise it’s really Sephrena that you have to thank (blame?) for me finally completing this story.

Now you’ve done it………

I jumped on the site this evening just to see if there were any new posts I was interested in reading, only to be reminded of a terrible loss. What did I see? Beyond The Pale By Elsbeth.

It has now been some four and one half years since Elsbeth last posted here - and I still miss her. She possessed a unique talent and my world is more than little less bright without her in it.

Twice Removed... soon on Kindle

Hey everyone,

I'm pleased to announce that Twice Removed will soon be published on Kindle. I'm aiming for this weekend for the kindle release with paperback and audiobook versions coming as soon as can be managed. Once the book is on Kindle it will be removed from BCTS. I know some of you have been looking forward to this for a while, and I'm really excited about it.

*big hugs*

Unoriginal Titles

I don't read a lot of fiction these days. Neither do I always think things through. The Masks series was originally written in response to the first Incredibles movie. They were intended for the entertainment of myself and other members of the Transformation Stories Archives. If I had realized it would become a commercial product I'd have called it something besides Masks, which is too generic.

Likewise, I didn't realize there was already a series titled "Angel" on BCTS or I would have lumped together my "Angel of..." stories under another title.

I'm back kind of.

Hello, I'm kind of back now. I know I stopped writing there for a hot minute so I'll telll you what happen. While fishing my day was finned by a catfish and well an infiction set in. It was kind of a good thing because that infiction caused him to go the doctor and get admitted to the hospital were they did a lot of test and they found ucles (?) in his belly that are now treated and are healing so yay for that. Now I kept writing all through the nine days he was in the hospital a hundred words here, maybe three hundred here. Not enough for a chapter per say.

Jeremy Chandler

Does anyone know how to get a hold of Jeremy Chandler. I see he posted here in February this year. I have an email address for him, but just now I sent an email to it and it bounced before I could even look at my next email.

I talked with him a couple of years ago about the possibility of contributing a chapter or two to "My Summer in Pantyhose" when he was having trouble moving on with the story, but at that time, I couldn't wrap my head around the storyline well enough to do so.

Pet Peeves

I was just sorting through old stories here when I noticed one from around 2016 by Maggie Finson. She was complaining about Women keeping their heels on... Hmmm.

In 2024, I'm perhaps more liberated. These days I have my own list. Never more than 2 inch heels. Dresses and Skirts must have at least 2 side pockets. Wearing pants is sinful, don't do it.

Never wear a bra. They make my Lymph nodes feel like I've been shot. Sometimes a Crop Top.

It is always a struggle to keep my weight out of the Obese Zone. I've been up and down 40 lbs (18 kg) over the years and hate it.

Karma Is a Cat, Purring in My Lap

For the last three months, Taylor Swift has been playing in my car. I just don't get tired of her. I mainly play 1989 and Tortured Poets.

Two of my favorite songs are Karma and Bad Blood. Both are about karma.

I believe quite strongly in karma. Back when I still owned and operated businesses and felt like I needed a dose of good karma, I would make a donation to BC.

The number of times good things occurred shortly after a donation was amazing.

the problem with making an early entry

I have come to realize that being the first person to enter a contest has a drawback - after a bit, the story gets lost in the shuffle of all the new ones put out.

so unless you deliberately seek it out, you wont see it, and it probably wont get any more comments or kudos.

ah, well.

Fantastic Mars -15- Reposted due to earlier corruption

Fantastic Mars -15- has been reposted because the earlier post was corrupted and cut off after just a paragraph or two.

I'd really love to see some comments on this one to help me gin up the energy to take this story to a conclusion. :)

Hugs,
Erin

Changing a Life - or maybe two?

I am just letting people know that I have lodged my entry and I think it is the first one.
Being not content with my last adventure doing the silk road by road and rail east to west, I am off again soon and my not be back until late October, so I am getting in now, although Christmas still seems a long way off!

I’m Haunted by Columbine’s Story “An Awakening”

My spouse has been trying to get me to tour the St. Paul Cathedral. I’ve resisted. Fifty years ago, in my twenties, I lived for a year in an eight-plex -- two hundred yards from the Cathedral and never once set foot in it.

I was raised Catholic and seriously considered becoming a monk. I spent a week in an abbey. The older I got, the less I wanted to have anything to do with Catholicism, or any other traditional church.

The St. Paul Cathedral makes me nauseous.
