We cast our words out upon the wide digital sea not knowing where the ebb and flow of electrons may take them. The words we write maybe forgotten or they might bring a smile to brighten another’s day. Standing by the sea, I wonder if I will ever know. Soon I’ll wander back to my worn keyboard, for there are more stories yet to be told. For now I am content to walk the sands, looking for signs of others that have tossed their own words upon the ocean waves trusting in fate and surf to wash them to the furthest shore.

She knocked on his bedroom door. Not hearing an answer, she pushed the door slightly, calling him a few times. When there was no reply, she pushed open the door widely and her eyes fell on the disgusting looking thing on the bed. It looked just like a butterfly's cocoon, except that this one was as large as a man and definitely didn't contain a butterfly. She got closer to the bed. Touching the fluid leaking from the empty chrysalis, she noted that the fluid had almost dried, suggesting that this chrysalis had been empty for at least a few hours.

"Sir?" she called again.

She opened the bedside drawer, removing the Glock 17 inside it, just in case. Readying herself, she got out of the bedroom, the gun pointing downward and called for him again. She may not be a field specialist, but she didn't spend two years as the Headmaster's secretary without picking up new skills.

After a hard battle to reach Carthage Natasa and company finally arrive, Natasa still knows nothing of prince Athanas or his plans. The questions are, now here what can they expect to happen? who is princess Apollonia, did she send men to attack and if so why?

Sean stood for a moment, her violin hanging from her fingers. She was terrified, shocked, unable to move or even swallow for an instant of time that seemed to her to last forever. She finally lifted her instrument and almost aggressively clamped her chin down on the pad. She held her bow over her violin as though she was ready to beat the instrument, so it was a surprise when the first notes she wrung from it were so soft as to be almost inaudible.

Trapped on an alien world in an alien body Natasa has to decide to take a chance to escape before the false king can get his claws into her. The questions are: is this what dolls feel like while little girls dress them up and can heals and pretty dresses really help in an escape?

A boy thrust into distant world and transformed into a girl has enough to worry about without having to deal with unwanted male attention. Can Natasa find the answers to whats happening to her and avoid being made a woman against her will by a power hungry false king.

This wasn’t actually the first time nanites had been a terrorist threat - some Islam terrorist group had been trying to release a variation of GDD.
All it did was convert people into corpses. By eating their brains. Nanozombies. Urgh…

They wiped out the threat with massive a massive EMP - electro-magnetic pulse. Huge success. Nanobots all wiped out. No deaths. Pretty much a first for the US. *giggle*

After GDD, they tried the EMP solution.

It… didn’t work.

This is the story of how I screwed up, pissed off the bosses, and almost got myself killed on behalf of a company that was under the mistaken impression that I was disloyal.

It was then, with bits of miscellaneous orange gunk dripping out of my mouth, that I realised how much my mind had changed. I’d SEEN broken bones before, and not felt like this. I’d actually seen a suicide jump, and while emotionally scarring, I didn’t feel nauseous, even seeing the pile of crumpled gore on the ground. But now? Even THINKING of that set me off again, but I had nothing left to throw up, so I was just retching. And I’d tried to help Leeroy. That is enough to creep me out.
