            Tim was laughing out loud like a maniac while doing the final cleanup for the day. There was some business, everything sold out. Spreadsheet added up,

            It was 11:00 a.m.

            “I’m going to sleep, eat lunch.” He had gotten a DVD of Drop Bears from the library. Whatever movie it was, with Bobbie leaning into him, it would be better.

Take Three Girls

Take Three Girls. This is about 2 girls and one woman (myself) and their very different route to become the women they knew they should be. It was going to be called Take Two Girls, but an on line friend (she knows who she is) and the girls bullied me into the name change. Some poetic licence has been used to help the flow of the story but not very much.

This is the penultimate part of the story and will take us from 2009 to when the girls began their new life in.
The next part (18) really tidies up loose ends and brings the story right up to the present day October 2014.

I gave my hair a last quick comb, and buffed up the toe caps of my shoes on the backs of my trousers. Why had I bought flowers? They weren’t good ones, but they weren’t roses. Mam had said that flowers all said things, all had different messages and places and times they were each right for, and roses were making a very clear statement best not said right at the start. It wasn’t really the start, of course, for we had been dancing the blushing two-step for months. Mithering, her mam had called it. Sod it, couldn’t I just be back outside that bloody airfield again?

“What!” I practically yelled much too loudly and, after I realized how many heads turned, whispered. “You’re suggesting we go shopping for a dress for our son! Remember. You’re the one who wanted to lock the third floor door. You practically called Dr. Ellis incompetent because he complimented Jack’s hair. You thought I was bonkers for buying him panties. Now you’re all in. Typical!”

She walked over to my car, I rolled the window down. "What's wrong now Princess?" Jill said. I said "I can't go in there, Sharon will see me and so will the other clients." Jill replied "Baby doll it's ok, no one will say anything. Besides I need to give further instructions so you look perfect tomorrow night." She opened the door for me and took my hand, and helped me out. We walked into the Salon arm in arm.

It wasn’t that bad a drive back, especially as Dad spent most of it asleep. He can be more than a little helpful with advice about my driving at times, the satnav being replaced by the frontseatnav, and his snores were more easily ignored. It is still a bloody long way, though, but as they had left the parental car at our house I didn’t need to make it interminable by going all the way out to Abergwaun. I did the ritual of the milk in the last petrol station before home, and once in Siân did the dance of the kettle.
