As the saying goes, ‘all good things come to an end’. For the three of us, that meant having to go back to work. Still we were happy at how things had turned out over the Holidays.

The three of us made a staggered entrance on the first day back. Gwen got a few ribald comments from Jeff. That was nothing in comparison to what I received.

As I walked into the Office, Jeff pounced.
“Hello, my name is Jeff. Can I help you Ms?”

“Hello Jeff, my name is Louise. I am Stewarts replacement.”

Little Shadow

Mrs. Carson looked at the Egg that from time to time started to shake from the movement within. Then there appeared a small crack in the shell of the egg. Tennyo one of the last years freshman of the academy that was brought in together with the rest of team Kimba got excited and questioned.

"Oh my god is that a crack in the eggs shell?"

I'm pulled out of my slumber by the incessant droning of an alarm and groan. I am finally able to open my eyes. Rolling over to look over the edge of my bed, with a groan I get out of bed. Then of course my feet touch the cold concrete floor of my room. Making me groan again, it's just awful to wake up needing to go to the bathroom but between your warm bed and the cold porcelain throne. Nothing to keep your feet warm with the ice cold ceramic tiles for the bathroom floor and the concrete floor that is probably only a degree warmer but it's still too damn cold.

This is my first story, and I'm not really sure how fast I will put the chapters out. I have tried publishing a story on this website before, but just got a serious case of writers block for it. This one shouldn't have the same problem, it's a take on the main character being exactly like me with my life, with some fictional elements implemented to make it more interesting.
