While I enjoyed seeing a lot more of my new housemate, I also began to worry.

“Shouldn't you be out ...I dunno.... busking or something?" I asked while I cut up some fruit for breakfast.

He just grinned. “What are you, the house mother or something? It's cool. Rent's covered.”

“I didn't mean it like that. Just.... you're a musician.... shouldn't you be... I don't know.... off making music or something?” I smiled.

Alice, “I understand you are here to teach the little misses dancing. Would it be an imposition to ask you to give credence to the idea that there may be older ones who also may like lessons but are embarrassed to be seen doing it with the little ones.”

Someone turned on the hall light and opened the door. Today was the day and everyone seemed ready to get started. After a couple of injections, I was numb enough below the waist for anyone with a task to perform there to perform that task with no discomfort for me. After the initial prepping, it was time for the general anesthetic. A nurse held a clear plastic mask on my face and told me to breathe deeply. I took a deep breath. Then I heard Amie whisper, “Jamie”, as she gently kissed my face.

I tried to sleep, but if I got any it was brief and fitful. I was a bit of a wreck the next day. Dennis understood and went easy on me. Mikey seemed to think I was hung over, and it seemed easier to let him think that. For whatever reason he went easy on me too, I was grateful.

I was sitting on the balcony just enjoying the warm sun and gentle breeze, maybe I was dozing in and out. Mikey came up behind me and gave me a gentle hug.

Gaby, “All we need is the transmitter in a crag or crevice. The rock will act as a transmitter. I know this because I tried it closer to home with a black spot I had & it worked.”

Jack & Jean were going on holiday to America. The last time they had been on holiday together was their honeymoon in 1949. “I did not order the limo to go to the Royal I ordered a taxi.”

The young driver laughed and said, “My dad has upgraded you. But it is at normal family rates. He also thought it was about time you two put these on they where a present from your god mothers at your christenings. I even got one identical because they thought I looked like a girl.”
