"Come on man, this is heaven." My friend Andrew attempts.

"Dude if we get caught I heard the cheerleaders were ruthless." I reply.

"But the risk Is worth it!" he counters. I finally agree with him and we wait until school is over. When everyone leaves for home, we meet up outside of the girl's locker room. When the girls soccer team comes to get changed we quickly pull out our smartphones and turn them on. The girls go in without saying a word. Andrew smiles and I stay silent, we couldn't screw this up.

Jack suffers from a curious mental illness that gives him a female persona in his mind. It greatly increases his intelligence and his ability to work on his studies. However, he is constantly aware of the needs and desires of his alter-ego, Jill. The two work well together as a team but then Jack's new girlfriend Maria enters the picture.

Friday night and the unseasonably warm weather has brought even more people than normal on to the Shoreditch streets. Music pumps from bars as relaxed students and hipsters mill around drinking. We have had a good day in the recording studio and it is time for our little team to kick back and chill.

The Kitsune wakes from her slumber, having recovered from her bout with the Maou of the eastern territories. She had grabbed hold of his weakness and after days of trading blows, cut clean his horns dispelling his magical force. Though the fight was close and exhausting, the rewards made it worthwhile. All of his territory along with her own set of majestic horns, signifying the crowning of a new Maou.

Her powers recovered and amplified by her new found status, the Maou sets off in search of a place to settle down to ponder her future options.

I can’t remember a time when Adam and I weren’t friends.

Our mothers met in hospital shortly after giving birth. They swapped numbers and babysat for each other; because of them Adam and I shared the same milestones, whether it was swimming lessons, birthdays, or joining the scouts. We spent so much time together that growing close was inevitable.

From pre-k to high school we were joined at the hip, and always watching each other’s back. Even when Adam started getting in trouble, smoking weed and getting into fights, we were there for each other.

A day out with Sammy

“Did you buy it?” Samantha asked me. Her face beamed with curiosity. “Yes, I did” I replied proudly.
“Can I see?” she asked me. “Sure.” I answered. I felt a little hesitant. Samantha was my best friend and I shared everything with her. However, this was a big purchase for me and I also felt a little embarrassed.

I look out of the window of my room, in a senior citizens' home. It's been so long, since I last left the confines of the estate. As I hobble down dimly-lit hallways, past drably uniformed nurses wheeling residents in and out of their rooms, I let my feet take over. A pair of wrinkled, weary feet, aged from the thrills experienced over the course of a lifetime. Amazing how they still work so well- I barely need my stroller at all.
