Chapter 19

That evening, Good Friday, they spoke about the wedding day, the time away and Cardiff, but made no mention of the gravesites. That was an experience that was one of the first for the new Randall family. Wendy let them in on the details of the wedding and reception, all organised while they were busy in the studio.

“I hope you don’t mind, love, but the business account paid for everything. I was sure that you wouldn’t worry.”

Chapter 18

That Saturday morning was like no other that Willow had known. She woke up with the realisation that today she would become a partner to Garry, for life. It wasn’t something that had been front of mind in the busy world that had been the last few weeks.

Alex had a terminal Cancer diagnosis and thought she would die before she got to be the girl she always was inside. That all changes when she's in the wrong place at the right time and gets transported to another world and into the body of a girl. So what if she's not human, she's alive and a girl. Now if only she had her sister with her to navigate this new world and her new responsibilities. Wait, she's here too? The passage of their souls between worlds may have doomed the Earth to apocalypse, but Alex and Michelle won't be there to see it and they have enough problems on their hands.
 

Chapter 17

“Oh? Something happened?”

“Let’s all sit down with hot chocolate, and I’ll tell you.”

They were sitting and relaxed.

“Now, young lady. Spill the beans.”

“OK. Yesterday we ran through the whole show and Lee suggested we change the very last few seconds from the guys singing to us girls doing the scales when ordered to sing. It really worked well, so we did the whole show in full dress this morning and then had lunch.”

“Right. That’s it?”

Chapter 15

They were standing by one of the stalls, when there was a voice beside her.

“Excuse me, young lady, but you’re Willow Rose, aren’t you?”

She turned to see a man who looked all the world like a teacher, with a younger wife and a baby in a stroller.

“Yes, I am, sir. You look like a teacher, but not one that I ever had when I was at school here.”

Posting this a few days later than intended - what with getting Community Witch ready for publication, it's been a hell of a month!

My plan is to post the last 3 chapters every other Tuesday after this, and then I'll be posting chapters of a new project. :)

David had never considered himself anything beyond ordinary. At twenty-one, he was tall and lanky, with a physique that leaned more toward fragility than strength. His dark, tousled hair seemed perpetually unruly, offering a rebellious contrast to his careful nature, while his glasses, ever so slightly too big for his face, frequently slipped down his nose, needing constant adjustment.

“It’s only monstrous if it fails,” he said. “If it succeeds, it’s medicine.”

Been awhile since I've posted. I've started a series of novels based on the Magic, Mystery and Mayhem Universe. I'm calling this one The Case of the Twisted Sister. It has TG in it...along with a campy feel. I'm hoping to make a series similar to the old Scooby Doo Mysteries...not sure if I'll be successful.

It took her no time at all. Well, I mean, okay, three days, but my Alice always was a quick study and it was a tough lesson.

It took me a moment to adjust to the mid-morning sunlight. We’d emerged in front of an abandoned factory building on an abandoned factory site. It was actually a pretty good place to have kept me. Difficult to isolate the building I was in from the others. Easy to spot when the authorities turned up. Maybe even with an escape route somewhere, though knowing Peter, that’s where he’d likely have stopped thinking.

News that a woman was being interviewed for the position of Chief of Police spread through the town like a rampaging wildfire. Opinion was divided, but because of the corrupt nature of the last Chief, many were willing to let her have the benefit of the doubt should she take up the post.
