“Happy birthday!” Everybody in the packed ballroom yells at the top of their lungs. I can’t help but giggle at some of the bizarre costumes being worn by some of the party attendees, myself included- there are very few places you could get away with wearing a skin-tight green thong leotard, a pair of brown booty shorts and combat boots, but a videogame-themed birthday party is one of those occasions.
“Hey Miss Croft,” Sarah giggles as she gives me a tight cuddle. “Want to go and ‘raid’ me a drink?” I smile as Sarah adjusts her own tight white top and loose over shirt.

I realise that the language of the time is difficult to read (and difficult to write) so I have done an amalgam of vernacular (probably not grammatically correct.)
I know this story has a slow build up but I want the build the character the story starts moving in a few chapters time but I would appreciate your comments to ensure that I'm on the right track.
Sand Dollars’ next mission becomes personal for Alex- the result requiring the Empress to reveal herself. Some members of Alex’ crew finally realize their gifts and one in particular proves her metal on a special mission.

My journey started well enough. I managed to catch an angkot despite being around midnight, and after some fumbling, I managed to explain to the driver that I planned to go to Panggung street - I just moved, so I didn’t know the street name of my new house. Afterward, there’s really nothing to note. I read my book, the driver drove the car, and all’s right with the world.

I originally wrote this some 2 years ago then my muse departed so for some reason I couldn’t commit anything to paper, which meant that the story stopped at chapter 13 (superstitious?) Now my muse has returned and I find that I can continue but I was left with the problem of what to do whether to carry on and post chapter 14 in the hope people would pick up the story or repost from scratch. Having asked the opinions were varied and as a result I have decided to post up the chapter 13 at a episode every couple of days then after this a weekly posting – I hope you all approve.

Good evening, everyone. My name is Felicia Belphere Metrune. I am the only daughter of Baron Alphonse Lartes Metrune. I am 9 years old. I haven't always been Baron Metrune's daughter though.
I was originally a 29 year old man who lived in Cornwall. One day I got hit by a truck and you've probably guessed it, I was reincarnated into what seems to be medieval Europe.
So I built up some industry in father's poor barony using my new-found wealth. Then suddenly, after nearly 10 years of peace, somebody had the bright idea of wanting to go to war with us. As if being poor wasn't enough of a problem already.
