“...and that thing people say about being able to leave if your professor is 15 minutes late? Nicole, I’m telling you it is not true. I learned that the hard way.” Adam paused to look down at his burger in a mocked expression of shame. I had only been half-listening to the story, but at least knew that I needed to jump in at this point to make it look like I was paying attention.

This story is a homage and tribute to the absolutely wonderful recent story "Gender Studies" by Karen Elizabeth L., which is to be read in Conjunction with this.... this is basically a tribute to this.

Arjun had always been proud of his hair. It was thick, dark, and fell in smooth waves well below his back—far longer than most other boys in college. He often left it open, allowing it to flow behind him when he walked. Whenever anyone commented, he would dismiss them with a smirk and continue on his way. He believed that nobody should dictate how he looked.

Someone has been killing cats in the neighborhood. Kathy, who is 10, tries to protect her cat, but eventually, someone catches her cat outside and kills it.

When Kathy learns who has killed her cat and others in the neighborhood, she makes them pay by becoming two new girls.

The next morning at the breakfast table a freshly grounded Tracie was almost shouting. "If I was a boy, I wouldn't be grounded, and we wouldn't even be having this discussion right now!”

Speaking through his teeth, Tracie's dad spat, "You ARE a boy!"

"No. No, she's not."

It was spoken quietly, almost unheard, but it had a force behind it that shut everyone up.

Corinne looked at her husband, "Face it, honey, she's not a boy and hasn’t been for a long time, if ever, really." He sat back down and put his forehead in his hands, staring at his plate.

The Last Greek Class

Ancient Greek… an unusual subject nowadays, and even unusual back then… it was compulsory, along with Latin for the “Honours” class up to Inter Certificate (Intercert), and optional thereafter for Leaving Certificate (Leavingcert). And I took the option, even though I wasn’t that good with languages; it was reputed to be an “easy honour” and I needed this to get the state grant to help with college. We were to be the last Greek Class in our School as Greek teachers were becoming hard to find.

So, bit of background. Hi, I'm Crazy Minh. I've been writing fiction online for...seven? Eight years now? Point is, I've been doing this a long time. Some of you might know me as a long-time participant in the Whateley Academy community, although I've been largely inactive over there this year after some drama happened on the Discord. The bulk of my work was formerly hosted on ScribbleHub, a site which I have since been driven off in the last couple of days by some very ignorant individuals who objected to me being trans. This is one of my works that I've been writing since November last year, and I'm hosting it here to allow my fans to continue to access my work. I'm really hoping that this is the right way to post stuff on BigCloset, since this UI looks like it came out of the mid 90s, and the posting system is more akin to a forum than a actual publishing interface, so *shrug* here goes nothing.
