CHAPTER 14
I saw almost everyone out of the house at eight, Jim being young enough to need a curfew. Arris and I settled down on the refolded sofa for a snuggle and a chat, with a glass each of a big fat red. I hugged her.

CHAPTER 13
I make my crackling the old-fashioned way. Ish. After scoring and soaking the skin, I pat it dry and then rub it with olive oil. Sea salt is then rubbed into it, and the oven turned up high for the last twenty minutes of cooking. The result is a lovely brown crispness that rises clear away from the meat and just screams “Eat me!”

 
It was October 28th, I realised I had no costume for the halloween party this weekend.

“Ouch! Dissed!” the other boy teased his friend.

Oh my gosh! They really did think they were talking to a girl! He passed!!! He closed his eyes for a moment and made up his mind to be at ease. He looked like a girl and he had to act like one to if this was going to work.

Sunday? September 26th.

I cannot believe it and my brain is going right back into overload. I’m being kissed by a guy and I’m liking it….naked in the bath and…I can’t, I can’t like this can’t …can I…

I push Alex away, the size of him I’d never move him so he’s being a good…I’m so fucking scared. He stares at me oddly for a second, a slight nod? I don’t get him so much its giving me a headache.

CHAPTER 3

The guy we were after had gone into a national forest in Kentucky; my old stomping ground. There was no way a 100 marshals could ferret him out if he did not want to come. The only way to find him was for us to go into the forest as if on a camping trip.
