When Dave showed up that morning and asked about it being an all girl event, I was surprised. I intercepted the accusation that Dave was about to make when Judy and Ashley arrived, so he wouldn't make a jerk of himself. I also decided that Dave needed a bit of a special night, just me and him. I told Judy this and she agreed to take Ashley home when the afternoon was over.

In the question and answers session after the break I was deeply embarrassed because Kate asked me to stand up so that she could introduce me to everybody.

Garia's second session in the 'gym' brings further advances but Keren begins to regret participating. On their return Terys introduces a visitor and makes a timely suggestion that might ease the chaos that seems to surround Garia wherever she goes.

CHAPTER 71
We found the house, in the end, after a couple of false starts, and it was in a quiet back street in Horley. Not the most wonderful of areas, or houses, not at all like the one Steph had inherited, but it had three bedrooms, a very large garage, a reasonably spacious conservatory and a garden shaded by some huge mature horse chestnut trees. Only five miles from work, as well, for both of us, the route identical as far as the nick.
