Chapter 62 – Bringing back the ship

Kalosun heard the same shattering of wood that Jason had heard, but from only a few feet of distance. This was followed by a splashing sound and the ship began to roll in the waves. Jason had visited him a few hours earlier, just before the storm picked up, and Kalo suggested that he and the three drunks could weather the storm on board. Suddenly that seemed a less than wise decision.

“I don’t know how much more of this I can handle,” she moaned. “This show is killing me. I don’t know how much longer my voice can take this.”

Author's note - I appreciate all of the comments that have been left, they make continuing this story worth it. While chronologically, there is much of the school year left, story wise it's pretty far in. While I still have a few details to work out, I pretty much have the first book plotted out. However, if anyone has ideas or things you would like to see on the future, please comment. (I am trying to keep events as close to cannon as possible, and as realistic to the existing world mechanics as possible though.) Now on to the story cause I know that's what you are here for. :)

Chapter 15    A working honeymoon and an invitation

A cryogenic experiment, A brave volunteer starts to dream about being the opposite sex. Is it malfunctioning equipment or intentional or something entirely different all together.

Private Hospital, Brooklyn, New York:
“Ouch!” Carla tries not to move as Doctor Zade removes the bolt from her shoulder.

A smirk appears on Dr. Zade’s face as she removes the bolt. She had to be careful, because of the spring-loaded barbs that secure it, in the body. She manages to get the bolt out and stop the bleeding.

Carla watches as Dr. Zade removes the bolt and closes the hole up. The local Dr. Zade gave her wasn’t working as well as it should.

Christina, that's all I could think about. Was I crazy? Was I willing to take on the shitstorm that would probably come down on me if I took up with her? How would my clients react if they found out? And I'm sure my competitors inside and outside the office would be more than happy to let them know.
