Sometimes life imitates art and sometimes humor can provide comfort in a time of crisis. This is an update of a story I wrote three years ago thinking it was a parody. Hopefully, it still is. Please all stay safe and be well.

“Please sit down, Mr McGann.” Senior consulting urologist, Dr. Lambert Pitt did not lift his eyes from the patient file in front of him. “I am just checking my notes. Now let me see … you came to see me, two months ago, regarding concern that your genitals might be shrinking.”

“That’s right, you told me that there was nothing wrong.”

“I don’t know Jack. This is some unique and barbaric modification that has been done to this person. All traces of what they were originally has been removed.” Dr. Carl Salk looks at the person on the examination table.

“What modifications have been done to the body?” Jack had watched as Dr. Salk examined the body.

Haylee pours the feed she has for the horses. The temperature had dropped and she was outside in her winter gear feeding the animals. She spots John and Berry feeding the cows over near the other corral.

Haylee finishes feeding the horses and heads over towards John and Perry. She enjoys being out among her grandfather’s animals. She rides her four-wheeler over towards the animal feed and loads the trailer attached to her four-wheeler up with food. Afterward, she heads over towards the gate and head into the corral.

I screamed through the gates of the estate in my Testarosa. My name is Maximilian Wallace Brockton. I am a world-renown dancer and actor. I live on this estate with my sister. I suspect we have a man-servant or two that live on the estate somewhere. I don’t really know.

Coming into the foyer, I was greeted by my sister, Binky. She had been working in her workshop, as is her usual hobby. She ran in and lept into my arms.

I recently found a diary washed up on the shore.
It bears witness to the demise of an island no one remembers.
Retells the fate of a young teenager and a mystery unfolding.
Maybe I should have burned it, but then again, what harm is there to share it?
