No genetic girl ever took to shopping like Hyun. Her mother was blown away be her willingness to try on different outfits. Her intention was to start slowly, maybe dressing her at home, but Hyun was having none of it. The butterfly was out of the cocoon, and there was no stopping her.

“I just love this dress, mommy! It’s so pretty” She spun around in the red and black A line dress. It had a bow in back.

Author’s note: This one is quite dark, and a little rough. Reader discretion is advised. For some reason, I wanted to try it in second-person perspective. We’ll all just have to see how it goes.

You make your way to room inside a concrete bunker, having been checked, rechecked, searched, stripped, hosed and put into a hazmat suit. You wait while a door slides open, letting you into a small chamber. After the door behind you closes, the door in front of you opens, and you can see into a room.

In the middle of the room is a girl.

Chapter 9

For a few moments I was stunned. Something inside me wanted this experience but at the same time I felt that I shouldn’t. I was feeling mixed up inside and any tingling sensation in my groin was now gone.

I couldn’t let Helen make love to me. That’s supposed to be my responsibility.

‘Helen this is wrong. I can’t. Please I can’t.’

She whispered to me. ‘Come on Robyn you don’t need to be frightened. I won’t hurt you.’

I’d never seen Helen like this before.

Chapter 7

Well it’s been a long two weeks. I didn’t know all of the legal stuff that took place in getting my application for me actually getting adopted by Mum.

Yeah I call Aunt Holly Mum now.

Most of it was trying to get in touch with my birth mom who was a no show, it turned out after a serious search that was done through the Mounties who talked to the FBI where I’m an American and she was last seen in the states that she had been seen in Reno, Nevada.

Chapter Two

Destiny’s eyes and her thoughts were on the coin in her hand. She didn’t really believe it could be a true magic coin ... but ... what would it hurt to wish? Closing her eyes she wished for something simple ... something obvious ... something that was ruining her day.
“I wish the rain would stop.”

Thinking that saying it twice might help the wish along. She said it again.
“I wish the rain would stop.”

Destiny opened her eyes slowly to see Katie staring at her.

“What’s wrong Destiny?” Katie said with concern.

I carefully snap the gold ribbon and take off the red paper. I’m unwrapping a Christmas gift from my grandmother.

“What’s she got you this year, Nathan?” my father asks as I stare dumbfounded into the box, frozen on the spot.

My mother comes up and looks over my shoulder, “Oh dear, it looks like she’s muddled the labels up. I guess that must have been meant for Sally.”

CHAPTER 50
John looked a little nervous at that, and I realised that he too had been shocked by the boy’s directness. He took a couple of deep breaths, and a glance at me, before replying.

“Jill is a friend and I will not hurt…her if I can, James”
