I was sitting here waiting for our next client to arrive on the first Saturday I’ve had available in nearly a month while I looked at the few pages of my diary which Tan recently filled in. I need to find a better place to hide and secure it. I don’t mind him writing in it but sometimes I put stuff in it that I would rather keep secret for a while.

Chapter 2
The next time I woke up, about 9 of the 16 girls had woken up. Jane and Claire were among the ones who had woken up, and gave me a warm smile as I sat up, wiping the sleep from my eyes. In about 30 minutes, everybody had woken up, and they were chatting away. I sat there kind of awkwardly, staring at nothing. That’s when a little voice said in my ear,
“Boo!” I jumped straight up, but then slipped and fell on my butt. I turned around and saw Claire. She gave me a smile then giggled.

Kate asked me to sit down on a leather chair whilst she sat on the sofa. I felt a little conspicuous sitting in a skirt and tried to be as feminine as possible. Morning light coming into the tent, filtered by the material, and my left arm still asleep where Eric was lying on it, my nighty twisted yet again and our legs somehow tangled up inside the bag.

I can’t help but to wobble a bit as the effects of what just happened hit us/me Alecia stares at me her eyes sort of wide with looks so strange on a vampyre, her pupils have expanded until there’s just the pupil surrounded by a ring of the blue/grey that her eyes normally are. She get’s up from her knees and limps over to where I’m sitting on my knees beside Shaun.

“He’s hurt bad.”

She looks at me and there’s fresh tears running down her face making clean tracks in the dirt and the old tears of blood on her face. “I’ll do my best.”

As I had expected, once Jimmy had been recognised there was a surge of people wanting to sit near him and play along, or just to listen. Steph asked him how he had managed to keep so many seats together.
